Have we lost Recruits because they have got an NIL deal somewhere else? Unless you are going to move UND out of Grand Forks you are going to deal with same limitations no matter what conference they are in.

UND's problem this year has nothing to do with NIL or being in the big ten. Minnesota fans don't even prefer to play those team and they are in the conference. Sort of Miss playing Wisconsin & Minnesota, but the rest do nothing for me. Post season on Campus feels very small time to me. MInny and michigan are light years ahead of a lot of teams this year. The were light years ahead last year and a team from the NCHC once again hung the NCAA banner. Nevermind the fact UND went into Minn and split the series with them so it's not like they can't compete. On the other hand did you see how UND was manhandled by Denver this year?

I'm interested in why all of a sudden people want to be in the Big 10. UND is not going to get the Big 10 money, so what else is there. Big 10 does not care about Hockey. Besides money I don't see the upside of Big Ten hockey. NCHC is having a down year, but is still the premier conference on a year to year basis.

Leave it the way it is. IMO the way the WCHA and Big 10 does it, it doesn't feel like a conference tourney. If I team loses in the Quarterfinals than they are off for 3 weeks, way too long. Dragging the tourney out an extra weekend seems too much. If the #1 Seed host final weekend, how many fans are going to travel to the post season tourney on less than a weeks notice. Also if the #1 seed loses in the semi's the Championship game will have no atmosphere. If I had my way I would kick Miami and W. Michigan out. 6 team conference with all teams making the trip to St Paul. Also 6 teams would allow more Non-conference games and every team playing each other home and away.

2 NCAA wins. One and done is same old same old. 1 win would kind of feel meh.

Hopefully a east coast team. Only way the NCAA will chance to format to having the #1 seeds host is if an East coast team gets sent out west and the #1 seed gets knocked off by the #4 seed hosting team. Hoping for Quinnipiac. Their coach will blow a gasket.

Hard for me to root for a town that calls themselves hockey town USA and plays class A hockey. I’ll be rooting against them.

Not suger coating anything. Was responding to a quote that even with $1 tickets they only got a few hundred fans. I understand womens hockey being gone. I don’t like it. I also will never under the pure hate by UND fans of the womens hockey program.

You had said they sold $1 tickets and only got a couple hundred fans. That was not true. I said I went to a couple $1 games and there were 4-5h fans there. I don't have the time to look, but if they only drew over 4k one time and you looked than so be it. Seems to me like the $1 games were pretty full. $1 games will almost always draw better than a free game. For $1 people think they are getting a deal. For Free they think they are getting a worthless product. (insert joke here)

this is not true. I went to multiple $1 games and there were about 4-5K there. Those games felt much different, as there was more of an atmosphere. And get it $1 or free tickets is not going to generate enough money to support the program, but flat out lies need to be called out.

I'll never understand the hate for Women's hockey. It didn't just start after the program was cut. I enjoyed watching the Women play. Like every sport it was not as fast as the Men's game, but you need to take it for what it is. No one goes to a high school game and complains that the game is slower with less skilled players. However i do agree that checking needs to be a part of the women's game as it is part of hockey. UND should have a women's hockey team.

I realize I'm in the minority, but Men's Basketball is semi unwatchable. I would much rather watch a game with great ball movement and perimeter shooting than a game full of dunks.

It is on WDAY Extra. Girls Class B is on the Main WDAY/WDAZ channel. I don't think the Semi Finals have ever been on the Main WDAZ/WDAY Channel.

Is there a list of the seniors being honored on Saturday? Wondering if all the Seniors are being honored even if there is a chance they come back next year or just the ones leaving for sure. Wondering if Kacie Borowicz will be back next year. if I remember correctly Orth was honored last year and still came back.

Would guess just softball. I'm hoping they would rent it out to local softball teams looking for field to play on.

Anyone have any idea when the Softball Complex is scheduled to be completed? I spoke with a UND Softball player new to the program and see was told the new complex would be up and running by spring of 2024. To me the seemed pretty aggressive. Is this a case of the coach making promises to get a girl into the program or is it realistic?

Both Holy Cross and Montana St keep the game closer than Ndsu.

I would like to see a Hockey/Football Destination weekend. Maybe play Maine both in Football in the afternoon and in Hockey in the evening. I understand by the time hockey gets going Football is in Conference play and there would be other issues, but I can dream.

If that were the case he would say No Spot are guaranteed and bringing in players to compete at each position. I don't get the impression those spots are up of competition. His son will be the starting QB no matter what the other QBs do.
