I guess I got my answer. I'm the only 1 that doesn't consider a loss and 3x3 win a split. Just my opinion. I will drop it as I need to go on with my day.

Doesn't even make sense. I would be upset if it was called a sweep when it was a Loss and OT Loss. Not the same as a sweep. I sweep implies 1 team got at whole pie and the other not nothing. A split implies both teams got 1/2.

I'll enjoy the season. OT win is worth 55%, not 67%. Either way it is not a split. IMO a good weekend is a sweep at home and split on the road. That should be the standard of a team looking to win a National Championship. National Championship should be the goal every year for a UND team. Like I said they have the right to improve and I expect they will with 8 new defensemen. Goaltender looks like a great pick-up. Only real point is this was not a split. As Saturday was 55% of a win.

Anyone else annoyed by the fact we are calling this weekend a split. 3x3 ot wins are worth little more that a tie. They are only worth 55% of a win. Basically a loss and a tie on the weekend. Not real impressive. Blew a 2 goal lead and a late 3rd period lead. This team has the right to get better, but this was not a good weekend.

You are comparing 11 pts vs 12. My question is 12 pts vs 13. Trying to figure out how Bubbas chart shows to go for 2 with up by 11.

At that end of the day we won the game and are still alive for a payoff home game. If we would have beat NDSU in OT and blew out Indiana state we would be feeling pretty good right now. Will the opposite happened and we are in the same spot. Just hoping this last close call was the wake up call this team needed and they finish the season strong.

Not a good look for Bubba. I would rather hear some sort of reasoning than that a prior coaches charts says to go for 2. At some point over the years I would think he would go over possible outcomes of being up by 11

If not going to say the NDSU game is meaningless, but sure has the chance to be. All the win did was set us up to be the best team in the state and a national championship contender. If we finish 7-4 and lose in the 1st or 2nd round we have not really gotten anywhere. In the mean time if NDSU gets to 8-3, which I think they will and makes a run in the playoffs we are stuck in the same place. Right now last week seems like a fluke. We need to finish the year ahead of Ndsu or the win is meaningless.

There is a reason Tommy was a D2 recruit. He would be a good D2 QB. If we didn’t have a QB decommit right before signing day he wouldn’t be in the program. He became the starting QB be default as our QB room was so bad. I sure hope he is not back next year as we seem to have a pretty good room right now. I know he gets credit for being calm and composed but he just looks lost to me.

The Rivalry is not the same. My excitement is the fact we have the #1 team coming to the Ralph this weekend. A great opportunity for the team to hopefully get a couple wins that will help at the end of the year with the Pairwise rankings. I would consider most of our NCHC opponents bigger rivals. But that is just me.

Biggest Win in a long time with the Silver Helmets last weekend. Need to Wear the Silver Helmets for every game for the rest of the year. Lord knows the new quarter zip i bought on Friday for Saturdays game will be worn every Saturday until the end of Football Season. As Far as the Jerseys? All Green at Home and All White on the Road. Not a fan of the Black Jerseys or Pants. Really not a fan of the Grey/Silver, but I'm superstitious enough that they should wear them until the luck runs out.

If it works it is a gutsy call by the coach. If it fails than the Fan's hold it against the coach for 2+ years.

Everyone runs some form of trick plays. You could make the argument a play action pass is a trick play. Every offense is trying to deceive the Defense. It is part of the UND offense. I just hope they don't run "trick"plays that result in huge loses or turnovers. (the Drive killers)

UND under this coaching staff is completely different home vs away. UND home field advantage has been worth about 20 pts. in the past As hard is the loss was 2 years ago it was a 1 score game and they went on to win the national championship. UND has won some big games at home. If the crowd is 95%+ pro UND and loud on all downs on Defense, we have a very good chance to beat them. I feel more confident in this game than i do vs USD and N Iowa as those games are on the road. 24-21 UND.

I would guess since they use their Green and White account it would be fairly easy.

I never liked the Bubba Buck's Deal. I only want student there that want to be there. Hated when they announced the winner of Bubba Bucks they the Student Section would empty out. Need to figure out why the student are not coming or staying. Is it because they can't drink? Have a section where students that are of age can drink. (as Suggested by someone else) Better yet, they anyone of age drink an any section. Drinking is allowed everywhere in the arena except the student section. There are fan's under 21 all over the Arena, but somehow we are worried that someone under age will be drinking in the Student section. New flash there is under age drinking going on in other places in the arena. If Student want to leave to get in line for the hockey game, than give fans that are there until the end of the football game priority access to the hockey game. Maybe a ticket to get into the game from another entrance 10 minutes before the other student are allowed to enter. i think variation of this have happened in the past.
