He has back to back road playoff wins this year. Don’t know much about him, but a guy that can win on the road and in the playoffs sound like a step in the right direction.

Unfortunatly, Berry teams are what they are. We pretty much can tell after a month what the team is. This team is a bubble NCAA Tourney team and bubble team for Home ice in NCHC Tourney. Hak's team always got better after the new year and made a run.

9-2 is mediocre? The NFL is not College Football. Not much difference between the best and worse teams. The Vikings have overachieved this year thanks in part to KOC.

This whole put Jerry in and see what we got is crap. Play the best Qb and try to win the game. It would be an insult to the players that have put 4-5 years into the program to not try and win their last game

The nice thing about going over the line back in the day is we would kill the Penalty off. Seems like our Penalty kill has been horrible and can't afford to take the liberty's we used to. No team wanted to go hard to the net because they knew they would have to pay the price.

One of the most frustrating things this year is the schedule set up well to have a good season. 7 of the 12 games at home. Host 2 of the 3 other Dakota teams at home. Front load the schedule with Home games to build confidence and play 2 of the toughest home games at the end of the year when we should have been on a roll. We should have been 8-3 going into this weekend with a chance to get a first round bye with a win.

I believe he had 2 years left on his contact so I believe the extension should have waited 1 more year. I could have bought the extension if there was one year left and wanted to give him a chance to recruit with new facilities in place. I would still have disagreed with the extension, however I could have seen the reasoning.

To be fair he took the program from 3 wins, to 5 wins, to 7 wins than 9 wins and a share of the Big Sky championship. After that it has been pretty stagnant. Now regressing.

.500 Record is neither winning or Losing. Right in the middle. Win Last 2 games they are a winning program this year. Lose both they are a losing program. Losing the last 2 is not going to do anything to change the HC for next year and probably the year after. Mind as will win the last 2 and if we missing the playoffs at least the players will have a good feeling going into the offseason.

As a UND fan a win is always the preferred outcome. Like it or not Bubba is not going anywhere after this year. While I don't like where the program is at right now and wish Bubba was not given an extension last year, way more damage is done by the team finishing the season on a 5 game losing streak. Losing organizations get used to losing and winning organization get used to winning. It is not like Pro sports when you get a higher draft pick. Losing leads to poor recruiting classes and good players leaving. I'll be rooting for UND to win the last 2 weeks and hope corrections are made in the offseason. i.e. get rid of Chaves and replace the DC.

I couldn't disagree with this more. Best thing about Hockey NCAA Tournament is that the the options of the Committee members don't matter when it comes to who is in and who is out. If you are the 1st team out you have nothing to complain about. You had numerus chances to get get in. Learn your lesson and play better from the beginning of the year next year.

I would love to see Bubba do the Griddy about 9 more times this year. He is not doing it for the Fans. It is a team celebration. Whether they barely beat a bad team or blow out a good team as long as their winning celebrate after the game and work on any weaknesses starting the next day. We are not good enough to worry if it was a good win or a bad win. JUST WIN BABY.

This is interesting, but a very small sample size. Its interesting that neither Duluth or Denver are listed as UND's Rival and I would consider them the top 2 rivals to UND. Mn does nothing for me anymore, except for Pairwise implications and seeing how we stack up verses a good non-conference team. I was also told by a Mankato fan the UND is their most hated team. That more Mankato fans are also fans of Mn, so they don't view them as a rival. Of course that was only one persons opinion

That Vaughn draw play is the kind of play that this board would go nuts if he doesn't make it in the End zone. If he doesn't get in the half is over and we go into the half with only a 7 pt lead. The kind of call that is dumb if it doesn't work and brilliant if it works.

In my mind to take a step in the right direction this team can only have 3 loses on the year. A 4th lose would feel like the same old same old. Although not a must win, to only have 3 loses and hopefully a 1st round bye we need to win the next 2 games as the last 3 games will be tough.

The Right call was absolutely mad, but I've be made as the penalty didn't contribute to the goal being scored. Having a goal disallowed and receiving a 5 minute major totally turned the momentum. If the Ref makes the call right away when it happens it wouldn't hurt MSUM as much. With the Ref missing the Call, there is no other way to call it. I laugh at the MSUM blaming the Ref for the game. The Ref actually tried to help by missing the call, it was only after UND challenged the call that they had not choice, but to make the call.
