Think the Dakota Dome struggles are overblown. Rarely have we been the better team going down there. 2 years we played horrible everywhere after the NDSU win. Last Win was in 2008, but being the he Big Sky while they were in the MVFC we didn't play them as much.

I could agree with this if it was a talent issue, but they were not ready to play on Saturday and that is concerning. Overall happy with what Schmidt has done, but they took a big step back on Saturday. Maybe that loss refocuses them. Also concerning that in all 3 losses we had the ball with a chance to go down the field and win the game and were unable to do that. Will need to do make plays at the end of the game in the playoffs or the season will be done.

IMO, only shot at top 8 is to win last 3 games. Has a 4 lost team over gotten a 1st round bye? A win vs NDSU would move them up, but a home loss to SDSU would move them back. This USD loss went from giving hope of a deep playoff run, to hope of a first round win to build momentum for next year. Win out and hope for favorable Quarter Round match up.

They should have been above us last week. They are 8-2 and we are 5-3. They took 2 of 6 points on the road vs us. They sweep MN on the road and we split at home. They should be ahead of us.

Only excusable INTs are balls off WR hands or Hail Marys to end halves. deflections off defense are bad passes.

This..... A sweep should be the expectation every weekend at Home. Anything less than that should be a disappointment.

It's actually pretty impressive that they are as good as they are with all they lost. Obviously hit the portal hard. They will beat Indiana St without their starting QB, but will struggle with Illinois St, USD and us. Could be 3 loses to finish season if they don't get him back soon.

I'm not a Romfo hater as he has done nothing but work his butt off since being here and appears to be a great teammate, but I think his role should be limited to being the holder on FG and Extra points. If you want to mix in a fake off one of those than so be it. They aren't tricking anyone by putting him a WR to set up a trick play.

Won't go that far. Our 2 losses would not get us above an undefeated Montana or Tarleton team. The others ahead of us I think would be jump.

Playoff committee has us at #8 right now, which would be a 1st round bye. So run the table would mean 1st round bye for sure. I think 1 loss we would still have a chance, since that would mean a win over the current 1st or 2nd ranked team.

What was the deal with this? I was 5 at the time and I remember having a Kermit the Frog that I would sometimes bring to games. Even have a picture in the Dakota Student holding Kermit. Remember "Kermit's luck guides our puck" and it would ride around on the Zamboni. Was it stolen or rewarded to Series winner?

On the flip side, what would have happened if he was one and Done in 2020. How much sooner would we have gotten rid of him. From what we have seen since the title in 2016, he was much more likely to have been one and done. I too thought the title in 2020 was taken from UND, but recent history has said otherwise.

Agree IMO a split is a good weekend for the road team. If you are an elite team you sweep at home. Anything less than that is not a good weekend. Also I think MN would be happy with a split. Never want the opponent happy after a weekend playing UND.

All 3 Dakota schools that Midco broadcast are on the road and looks like none of there are being aired. Seems like a big mistake. If Midco want to me the Regional Sports leader they should have UND and USD on in the Afternoon, one on each of there channels and SDSU on Midco 2 and UND Hockey on Midco 1.
