Question is "Who will be the Starter?" Not "Who do you want to be the Starter?"

I’ll trust out OCs judge on who the better QB is over anyone on this board. He has seen these guys more than anyone on here. Also must more experienced judging QBs. To be clear I we need more out of our QB this year. Either Romfo need to be better or one of the other to need to grab to starting spot.

Did I miss something or were our other 3 QB's Recruited to NDSU? The 9 man guy beat out the other 3 guys on the roster last year. Sure doesn't say much for them if they can beat out a ND 9 man guy. Your proof doesn't relate to the claim you are making.

If Romfo is the starting QB again this year it will be because he earned it for the 2nd year in a row, under 2 different HC. The other 2 were giving a fair shake. They had all of Spring ball and plenty of time in Fall ball to earn it. If they can't go out and earn it, that is on them. You are going to loose more games putting your 2nd and 3rd best QB out there. They for sure will not get the building rocking.

Jerry and JTJ have had there chance to step up and grab the starting role. They both went through spring ball without Romfo. If they don't step up soon it will be Romfo as the starting QB. I they can't win the job, maybe they are not that great. They need to start whoever give them the best chance to win this year. If it is Romfo so be it.

We want Miller covering UND Football until he tells us what we don't want to hear. Like it or not Romfo is the Returned QB starter. He was the job last Fall because he was the best QB on the staff at the time. He just observes what he sees. His observation will have not bearing on the the coaches decide. Not sure what Propaganda you think he has.

Sounds like a blast. We need a QB that can sling the ball around. This Running QB BS only works if you can stretch the field. Defense can stack the line again and unless the RB breaks free we will be Nickeling and Diming our way down the field until we make a mistake to end the drive.

Reading Millers daily updates it seems to me like the Defense is much improved or our Offense is not very good. Sure hope it is the Defense being much improved.

The thing is it wasn't even a shot at Bubba. Every year there are things you look to improve from the previous year. New players come in from both the Portal and recruiting. There are always thing you are emphasizing. Of course you need to make changes from the previous regime otherwise what would be the point of a coaching change.

So the Starter can get as many Reps as possible with the 1's and build chemistry. My fear is for the 2nd year in a row it feels like we don't have a true starter. We have 3 guys battling and any of the 3 could be 1-3 on the depth chart come game 1. I was really hoping one of the 3 would emerge as the clear starter, but it seems that everyday one or two of them struggle and one or two have a good day.

No because the NFL is so popular that it doesn't matter what they do and people will so up. Preseason is nothing but a money grab. If the preseason game was so important the coaches would have wanted to finish the game.

I'm not buying that. If the Big Ten can get 4 teams to where they need to go with a Wednesday/Saturday game the NCHC can get 1 team where they need to go with Thursday/Saturday. If they need to do Wednesday/Saturday so be it, but I think Thursday/Saturday is plenty of time.

Not a big fan of Wednesday hockey, but better than having an extra week off or only playing 1 game the whole week. I would prefer: Week 1 -best of 3 Quarter-finals Week 2 -Semi-Finals Thursday -Championship Saturday. Oh and the 9th and 10th place teams. Grab the Golf clubs a week early

Wonder if the injury caused the fight or if the injury was because of the fight. I'm all for the a little pushing and shoving and trash talk between the offense and defense, but there is a line that should not be crossed. IMO 3 fights in the 1st week is too much. If you can't control your emotions with your teammates what is going to happen when the games start the the fights turn into personal fouls and DQs?

I guess I'm not interested in making more Money for Visa or Master Card. I love the transparent companies charging a 3% transaction fee for using a card. The other Companies are charging more to everyone to absorb the fees that CC Companies are charging. I work for a company that taking CC's and I see the fees. I will take a check any day rather than CC. The number of NSF checks you get is far less that the fees you are paying to the CC companies. I guess we will see if the Alerus is absorbing the fees as they claim by if they raise their prices.

Where he ranks in the things wrong from last year is a matter of Opinion. We will see were he ends up on the Depth Chart. I'm betting #2. No Way he drops to #4.

Sort of my point. Consumer will end of paying more either directly (3% adding to CC Transactions) or Indirectly (Increasing in Product cost to Cover CC Fees). The Alerus is making the CC companies more money.

You'll see. There is no way you are taking last years starter and a Senior and moving him down to 4th on the depth chart. I don't know why its that crazy to think that if he is not the starter (Don't think he will be) that if the #1 gets injured or underperforms you would put that only guy on the Bench that has taken meaningful snaps into the game. In the list of things wrong with the team last year he probably isn't in the top 10.

Yes, I have a Debit card, but if I wanted to spend the cash I have I would need to convert it to a debit card before I would go to the Concession stand. For Example if I wanted to give my kids money to get something at the concession stand I would need to give him/her my Card to use.

Hate this..... Seems to be more and more Arenas, Stadium, etc. going to this. Sometimes I don't want to use a card, I have the cash and would prefer to just use that. No Way am I going to go convert my cash into a Debit card to be used and the concession stand.

Like it or not Simon will be #2 on the Depth Chart. If something happens to #1 they will want someone with experience to come in.

Was hoping for more Creativity in the new jerseys, instead just going with the same boring North Dakota on the front. Please just wear the Nodak jerseys.

I'm told most of the coaches believe Jerry is the front runner after Spring Ball.
