Gfhockey seems like a great guy. Lol I did have a conversation with a UMD fan when they were up here earlier this year. Nice guy. But, I get it, I understand the hate for them.

Maybe. I don't know that enough Eastern teams are bidding. It's a chance I would take. At least try for 1 round of bids.

UND hosted at the Ralph when teams were allowed to. Notre Dame hosted because no one else put a bid in and the NCAA had not other choice. It has been said and I agree. All Western teams that want to host need to submit a bid to host in their own arena. Make that the only choice, until the east comes around and gets on board with #1 Seeds hosting. Teams like UNO, UND and Denver have been bailing the NCAA out by submitting bids in Fargo, Loveland, and Sioux Falls.

In the NIL era we are nothing but a minor league program to the big programs. Sorry to say there is nothing that is going to prevent what is happening, the money is just not there. Unless you want to become a Gonzaga and drop both Hockey and Football and go all in on MBB, which I don't think anyone wants. Every year we are going to lose 5-6 players and need to bring in guys looking to get playing time at the Mid major level, knowing they will probably leave if successful. As we saw this year we can compete for a Summit league title doing this, just need to find the right guys.

I think most western teams would like to see #1 Seeds hosting in their own arena. What needs to happen is a couple 1 seeds east teams need to get shipped out west where Denver or UND is hosting and DU and UND advance out of the regional. I love seeing all the Eastern Fans and Media complaining about having to get shipped out West, when it is probably the most fair bracket in long time as it follows the NPI rankings with the exception of one switch to avoid a interconference 1 round match up.

Sure miss the old Regional days of 4 games Friday, 6 Games Saturday and 2 games Sunday. Always considered that Saturday my favorite sports day of the year. They should shift the regionals back 1 day. 2 Regionals Friday/Sunday and the other 2 Saturday/Monday. There is already a week off between Regionals and Frozen Four, so there finishing a day later would work. Would be nice to get a couple more games on Saturday. It would also help with viewership to move away from Thursday games.

No way they would consider a location 4-1/2 hours away from providence a home game.

I’m guessing they will announce game times after the 1st round game. Probably waiting to see what the matchups are to determine who they want to show in prime time

Think we got our answer as to way the selection show is at 2pm. Trying to promote womens championship and get viewers to stay on the channel and watch the game.

How does the 2 overall not have any players to watch. We must just be lucky

Class A Softball was in Grand forks last year and is in Minot this year. From what I've seen GF has the best Facility to host Softball. Should be there at least every other year. Should never be in Fargo at NDSU. After I saw what NDSU charged for renting the field for the state tournament a few years ago someone should have lost their job. Conditions of Albrecht Field being build required use for Youth teams at a very low cost. Also Baseball was in GF last year and Minot this year. I think most of the team SB and Baseball are in the same town.

IMO It means that they are looking to trade JJ for whatever they can get.

It was such an over reaction to 1 game. If it was the 1st round I would say finish off your opponent in less time so you’re not exhausted the next day. what will they do if the 1st game of the day at a regional goes 5 OTs?

I don’t see a scenario where they would cram 4 college games into a single site in 1 day. Only way it works would be 2 games a day.

I Like this, but only if it is over 3 days, not 4. I.e. Detroit Thursday, Friday and Saturday. and St Paul Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The teams that play Thursday get a day off and the Teams the play Friday play the next day. All 4 winner teams will get the same amount of rest. The Friday teams would play early games on Friday and the late game on Saturday. 2 Games everyday would be a fun 3 days.

Um... Unless UND is hosting you need to plan at a moments notice now if you are going to the regional, as you don't really know what Regional they will be in until its anounced.

They are probably just trying to get people riled up with MSU having to go to CO when it should be UND per bracket integrity. Pretty simple, DU wins and they are the 5 seed and Western goes to Loveland. Lose and DU is the 6 overall and Michigan St goes to Loveland. I don't know how they would end up as a 7 seed, maybe when i have time to kill I'll try to figure it out.

I don't think so. Winner of that game is in and the loser in out. Doesn't look like it has any effect on Augustana.
