Tough to tell how great a class is until they've been on campus a couple years, but our D line commits, Johannesson, and Griebel are very highly regarded. Rest of excitement comes from watching highlight videos (where, admittedly, most prospects will appear unstoppable), seeing needed positions/skill sets addressed, and trusting in the coaches.

Continuing the armpit and shoulder coloring, a giant f'n hawk logo, and keeping the interlocking nd on the shoulders.... this would be a mistake.

Agreed. Maybe they should just put an 8 on the front of all replica jerseys until they get a new design.

I'm guessing they just replace the shoulder patches as well. I'd appreciate a new design though, as the current jerseys essentially require you to customize them with numbers or something to fill the big hole on the front between North and Dakota. I'm also not a big fan of the colored armpits and shoulders.

Nodakhoops usually has a good eye for athletic ND kids. I quoted one of his posts above, but it's from March, so some could've fallen off and others certainly could've played their way into getting noticed this past season.

Also a slot receiver and punt returner. He looks like a Dressler-type player to me. We need more speed at the WR position and we need a punt returner. McKinney could be it.
