Hopefully the conference announcement doesn't result in the loss of any committed recruits. Can we start recruiting short, slow DBs again now that we only have to worry about mvfc offenses?

The biggest negative about the BSC was it was too big. Hopefully the mvfc isn't following a similar path.

Starting since the 2006 freshman class, we've brought in 2 defenseman drafted in the 1st or 2nd round. Forbort and Schmaltz. Neither were present for the natty.

The long-term impact of increased population and business in the state (increased tax revenue) thanks to nonresidents attending our colleges isn't as easy to see sometimes as the immediate impact of increased spending on the colleges.
