Please link the press release where UND said it won't be serving students on campus in the future. Most of the buildings being torn down are dumpy old apartments. As for the academic buildings, it's likely cheaper to build new than to refurbish several of them. Also, the campus added 325,000 square feet with the new med school and opened up a lot of space in the old med school for consolidating several older buildings.

Wasn't it just Bobby Stroup beating up JPL? Not long after Stroup beat up some frat boys and was dismissed from UND.

Couple things will be working against it, the biggest factor being UND fans don't seem as interested/confident in this year's team.

Fargo is much more attractive to young people than Grand Forks.

At one point they were looking at capturing and selling activated carbon from the burned coal. Not sure if that's still in the cards or not.

Hasn't Brad put out several articles ripping Miller and defending UMD? Or do I have that backwards?

It's crazy. I mean between a new steam plant, new med school, new aerospace building, collaborative energy complex, core library expansion, and indoor practice facility, it's almost like the chicken littles here are wrong about UND being shut down. Next up: new business school.
