Bubba certainly wanted a conservative offense. However, a competent conservative offense still throws the ball to the RBs and TEs. There is absolutely no way Bubba told Rudy to never run screens and never pass to the TEs. That was on Rudy and should improve going forward. Unfortunate that it's coming too late to use 2 of the best RBs in UND history.
Perhaps Bubba will have more confidence in a new OC dialing up a play. Not sure of the exact number, but our 4th down conversion rate didn't seem very good this year.
Please keep in mind these are real people who just lost their jobs. It needed to happen, but please attempt to handle the news with some class.
With that said, I'm still waiting to hear about Kostich.
