  1. Interesting to get a couple PWOs committed early. Currently we're sitting at: 5 OL 2 RB 1 WR 1 S 1 LB 1 NG

    2019 Season

I'm still concerned about losing 60 pounds on the DL. Hopefully the more experienced LBs can fill the gaps.
  3. Appears 1 of the unknown commits is a RB.
  4. So we are still missing 3?
  5. 6'3" 200# WR out of British Columbia. Also offered by Toledo.

  7. That didn't take long:
  8. Knowing we had a player suspended for a year for taking a stimulant popular among college students, that law enforcement didn't get involved, and that the stimulant wasn't caffeine, I see no reason to assume the ndsu player tested positive for drinking too many cokes, said the ndsu coaches gave him the substance, was thrown under the bus by ndsu coaches and staff, and has avoided publicly stating the substance was caffeine..
  9. 5'8" 175# RB out of Des Moines. Had an offer from Army. IMO, he shows good speed, quickness, hands, and vision in his hudl, and more power than you might expect from a smaller back. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/4445122/5bef2fd46e81370ea80cf304
  10. Could the Leave no Doubt series be making a comeback?
  11. Looks like we received 4 or 5 commits in the week after the first camp, but we didn't have any before the camp. Had 7 commits by mid-July.

    Jerseys

It's a $64 jersey on Ebay. Are we actually thinking this is what the team is going with?
  13. Probably just allocates less general operations money to athletics the following year.
  14. He had 4 other D1 offers according to Tom Miller. That is relatively high compared to most of our current and former players. As we've seen with other players that had a lot of offers, this doesn't mean he's going to be a great player. Just pointing out that Sather has apparently already gone head to head with other D1s and came away with a commit. Although I suppose it's also entirely possible those other offers were no longer valid.
  15. I think so. Based purely on competing offers, could we say Sather has already landed one of the more highly sought after recruits in program history?
  16. With some of the attitude and athleticism he shows in the video, he reminds me of another talented Milwaukee player who played for UND several years ago.
  17. A lot of current D2 and NAIA players could have boasted the same. I'm not saying an offer won't eventually come from a B1G, but right now we are his best offer, IMO.
  18. With that said, direct institutional support was $7.8 million in 2017 according to the report Darell linked. So it's good to see athletics' reliance on UND's operating funds decrease.
  19. Also has offer from Army.
