Brings me back to my suggestion last summer that on any contact to the head 5 minute major (or checking from behind where the player went head first into the boards), the player who was hit should be sitting at least 5 minutes game time for concussion protocol. After all, it's all about player safety.

Sounds like UND would like to use it as swing space for the next 5-10 years while they renovate Merrifield and a couple other buildings. The current plan is to raze it after that.

I'd say it's an interesting choice for the Foundation to select a person who has publicly vowed not to donate to UND as the luncheon keynote speaker....
