I don't think so. They did mention keeping the search committee smaller (11 people) in order to speed the process up a bit.

In naming the "finalists," Chaves may have taken into consideration how the individuals not getting the job would be affected by being named.

Nicker Hacker (UND alum) named chairman of the Board starting in July. Casey Ryan (Grand Forks resident) named vice chair.

Casey Ryan (State Board of Higher Ed member and former President of Altru) and Dennis Elbert (former UND Business School Dean) named the co-chairs of the search committee for the next president.

But can racing fans read?

Wynne named interim President. Curious how they'll administratively handle that, as he's a current UND employee already being paid much more than the President position.

Dr Wynne is great, but very busy already. I'd question him handling UND plus med school plus his patients.
