Hehehe my first thought was "I wanna hear more about the house. "
-
Sure why not. PM with the details.
-
In that case, big league apologies. That's terrible.

That ain't a jab at farmers. Lower tier law grads are equipped to deal with their problems though. Assuming they can pass the bar that is...
-
Sounds like a job for someone from a law school rated closer to UND's level.
-
Thank ya! I'll need all the help I can get. I'm the only North Dakotan here so I gotta make everyone at home proud.
-
Is there something I'm forgetting here? Wtf is a farm lawyer?
-
Hehehe you arent wrong.

If I told you to buy a lettuce taco it was 100% in jest.

Being the poor student that I am...something light. Little non-monetary bet perhaps? I'll spot ya 21. If I win, you change the avatar for a couple weeks. If you win, name your price. I'll probably accept.
-
....I have no idea who you are
-
You might even have positive yardage at halftime!!

@VMeister care to make a wager boss?
-
You sure you wanna talk about the hockey team after the last couple years they have had
-
If one of them cited NDSU's record against USD from the 90's as a significant statistic now I'd call them an idiot too. That's pretty neat that a barn by interstate stinks on occasion. I feel pretty comfortable that most would agree where NDSU's campus is. NDSU has an awful lot of property throughout the state. I don't refer to much of it as "campus" including the building I spent the most time in downtown.
-
Lmao, I've taken the road many times. And that's not exactly what I'd call campus. Not sure records from my childhood are going to help much. The kids playing on Saturday were between the ages of 2-6 years old the last time UND won a game in the Fargodome. I'm sure they'll draw a lot of strength from the 2002 Fighting Sioux team.
-
In my years on campus, I dont recall ever catching a whiff of manure. Maybe others with more sensitive noses caught it though. I lived in a cow town for awhile so the smell doesnt bother me. A west wind definitely brought the smell of the dump on campus though. That was very unpleasant.

Might wanna see how the year plays out. For all we know, UND's schedule could end up trash, or it could be amazing. For the record, I dont think any 6-5 team should ever be in. You can do that without ever winning two games in a row. I'd rather give the spot to a team with more wins, even if they arent any good, at least their record isnt hovering around .500 lmao.

They were scheduled last minute because the team Iowa State was going to play made the playoffs.
-
I have had the opportunity to tailgate Ames and South Bend. I wouldn't call one of them better than the other outside of one of them being on a more scenic campus. I suspect that you likely wouldn't go after someone for claiming South Bend is a great place to tailgate for a football game...unless you are one of the not so subtle anti-Catholic folks. Show me on the doll where Iowa State hurt you?
-
I saw that...at least have the courtesy to go in an alley or something.

The first couple weeks of the season always result in some big swings in polls as results start coming in. This is such a dumb thing to legitimately be salty about. They went into Iowa State, a team expecting to be a top 25 team in all of college football, and played well enough that at the end of regulation, the game was tied. My guess is Iowa State right now is a lot like Iowa the year NDSU beat them. A pretty solid team that can give really good teams trouble, and can lose to some pretty "blah" teams too. TIL that having good TV numbers is what really matters. That will warm my heart the next time Notre Dame has a garbage season. "We might be terrible, but at least our TV numbers are still lights out!" There are very few programs that will get non-alum/local viewers if they aren't any good. Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Texas. Maybe a couple others. So yeah, I mean....the vast majority of people are going to watch Alabama vs. LSU, probably because that is typically a big game deep in football country with SEC/National Title implications much moreso than a Iowa State v. Northwestern non-conference game between two teams that just want to be bowl eligible most years.
-
Yep. Sure. 8-5 P5 team with wins over some top 25 teams are terrible. Not solid. In fact, they were terrible last year. All because some game that got scheduled at the last minute was close in garbage conditions. No one is running around calling them God's gift to football, but they were a solid team. Not great, not bad. Better than most. This is a really stupid hill to die on bud.
-
They were pretty solid last season. Especially after they got their QB situation figured out.
-
They took what is supposed to be a good P5 team to 3OT. I'm not a big fan of upping a teams ranking for losing a game, but I understand the thought process. If UND takes NDSU to 3OT next weekend, I expect you'd see a fairly similar jump from them. Early season polls are a joke anyway. The coaches/media should follow the FBS playoff committee and wait until later in the year until people can actually get a feel for who is good this year and who isnt.
