Its a goofy phenomenon. I think it might be a defense mechanism some folks have to stay engaged. NDSU has been rolling teams for about a decade now. I can see how this results in some folks creating a boogieman. That is absolutely absurd. I'm not sure NDSU has been counted out in literally any game in a decade. Truly galaxy brain level thinking. Everyone wants to be a scrappy lunch pail team taking on the world. That hasn't been NDSU since my freshman year of college (2010).

Blackouts are lame. Always have been. The key to doing color games is to pick colors that stand out. Some colors don't work well with TV. If Penn State did a "blue out" it would look silly. NDSU did a Green game once in college, that was at the peak of NDSU fan devotion. It looked like trash. Forest green, like black, doesn't pop in the stands. Kelly green on the other hand, does pop. I'd stick with that. It's a nice bright color.

Eh... they used to do that for Bison games and it was kinda corny. Maybe they still do it. Either way... it was corny then and would be now. Have fun, make it a good environment. Hopefully in 50 years the guys who played can remember it like Bison73 can.

I think those days are done most places in general, might be a product of the modern society. At NDSU 2010-2015, I dont recall hearing professors mention games, or there being much "talk" or "vibes" on campus prior to big games. People just went to the game.

It's literally one guy telling people not to go. I'm sure there will be a healthy contingent of fans there. Too convenient of a drive and haven't played in GF since '02 or '03... whenever that was.

They don't. Not at this level. It means nothing. Nobody is choosing UXD or XDSU because of uniform combos.

Serious football programs don't have "combination options." Only gimmick programs do that. UND and NDSU both should adopt a single "look." They both constantly change their uniforms... football schools don't change... they adopt a vibe and they roll with it. Notre Dame, Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State, USC.... they might have minor changes.... but they don't pull the dumb !@#$ UND and NDSU pull. We have good color combos. Kelly Green and white is nice and simple. UND's 80's jerseys were lit even though they sucked. NDSU's 80's fit was straight fire.

Not sure what UND would do to the Betty? Still a very nice facility. No capacity issues anyway
