It means the games played between the schools have been lame. I have little reason to think football is going to be otherwise.

Basketball games have been boring. First one in Fargo was neat for about 10 minutes. Fans come in with these expectations and it doesn't live up to it.

Devil's advocate says the MVC says it's an easy opportunity for its football schools to play big boy football. I don't see any of that happening, but hey cool if it does.

I had a heavy semester, focused on that and my part time job. Applying for full time jobs now and working. No I'm not in Jamestown milking my Newman money you were convinced I had. It's okay. It's nice that the folks at the state hospital give you internet privileges from time to time.

I think it's being realistic. End of the day, that game is a big deal to people.

Zero reason UND shouldn't be a perennial top 3rd of the conference team. Only UM, MSY, and EWU should really ever be in the way. Time to drop sports and pursue actual excellence. Welcome to division 1.

Wouldn't volleyball or softball be able to say they are the big female sports if necessary? Wrestling doesn't have it's own facility. Don't know that it gets big time funding. Don't see a big problem there. Of those 288, how many full scholarships does it add up to? Of the ladies, how many does it add up to? Don't see a problem with how NDSU goes about things. Quite a few girls sports on campus. What I do see, is some folks who are bitter with UND's inability to compete at some of their sports for the time being... And rather than fix the problem, would prefer to see NDSU in a similar predicament.

The funny thing is... It's about the only thing in forks. North Dakota as a state... Doesn't really support much outside of Class B Basketball.

Women's basketball shares facility with men. Softball and volleyball each have their own place to play. Probably an overly simplistic view though.

Nope. I will be paying for my own education and unless the air force was providing silver spoons to parents... Didn't have one. Certainly not a Newman associated townie and to be honest I am not aware of anyone who is.
