SDSU has been flaunting their facility as the largest in the country even though the field is 80 yards (does look like a great facility), ours will be 100 yards with a section for linemen to practice. I assume ours will be larger?

As pointed out this is a hypothetical thread and the rest of our schedule is completely winable. For the record we have been underdogs in every game except Robert Morris. You can sit on your high horse all you want but the fact is this team is steadily improving and I think that bothers you because you expected UND to be winless at this point. It also doesn't help your case that you are on a UND fan board talking down to us. What do you really expect the responses to be? Your inferiority complex is shining through your comments.

I highly doubt they were actually trying to remove the letters...but if that was the case then the sentence was too light.

I am just glad those amateurs got caught...and then have to write a 2 page essay on why UND is a good school is even better. Seriously...if you are going to pull a prank like that why would you travel with a crowd of 10-15? You need 3 guys to get something like that done. Amateurs.

It appears I stirred the pot this morning with some facts I am also interested to see if their defense holds. They do have a terrible offense but as it stands they have a top tier defense and it bothered me to see some posters disregard them because they are simply not familiar with them. I honestly wasn't surprised that we had difficulty moving the ball against them. I still think they will end up being the toughest defense we play all year. Our offense seems to be steadily improving and I do not care who plays QB as long as they compete and deliver when needed. If we can continue to improve on offense then we have a good shot of putting up some points because I believe the toughest defenses in SB and Montana, are behind us. (Missouri State we just played like a steaming pile so tough to gauge that D)

According to the stats Stony Brook has a pretty good defense: http://stats.ncaa.org/rankings?sport_code=MFB&division=12 They are top five in: Total Defense, Rushing Defense, Passing Yards Allowed, Scoring Defense, 3rd down conversion %, and 4th down conversion %. They happen to be number 1 in total defense category.

I am not sure who should be starter...at this point I am just happy the team has a bye week as they certainly need an extra week to heal up.

Just smile, get up with your beer, and walk to another section. Simple as that. I do get your point though. When I was a student they were bad at the Al to and I an other friends ended up not going to some games because it was not worth the hassle.
