They are owned by the same company (Forum Communications). There is an existing relationship there in regard to editorial sharing but that is limited. Each paper has a fair amount of content that they decide on in house and there are other instances where some space is held for regional stories of importance. I am not sure if this is one of those cases. There is also a looses relationship with advertising as well.
I used to be a GF Herald employee when I lived in GF.
You are deflecting. Arrington does not count. You made that prediction weeks before there were even any rumors about the UAB program going under. This is a provable fact as we can go back and look at the dates of your posts predicting 3 FBS transfers.
For anyone who is interested UND Sports Extra is doing a feature on RB transfer Arrington. Re-airs on one of the FCS channels today at 4:30 MTN (3:30 Central)
I am looking to make this trip as well. It's about a 4 hour drive through very scenic country. I agree that Wyoming will be much improved; but not unbeatable!
I am certainly a homer but watching the saturday game in particular really got me fired up. I rarely yell at the tv, but saturday night i found myself yelling at the tv multiple times. It is extremely rare that officiating actually affects the end result but an argument can be made that this happened here.
First off, I agree with many here the the basketball team needs to be quiet about this as they have no leverage whatsoever. They should be happy that we are going with a top notch gear provider for all sports (about damn time IMHO).
Honest question: I guess I can understand that some guys may have a certain shoe preference (I certainly did with skates). If some of the bball guys prefer Nike shoes can't they just buy their own pair?
That is kind of ironic because they are essentially saying their home state, that they proudly say is a primary recruiting area, has poor competition. I can't be the only one who sees the irony in this.
