Also, I don't know if anyone notices the D-men were trying to get some shots on net. None of course went in but they were trying.

I don't agree the games with Minnesota and UND were close with the edge going to Minnesota, however, don't forget we lost a couple of games on questionable goals so like someone said earlier they could have went either way. I am not scared of the fact that UND could face the Gophers again in the NCAA playoffs. All I keep thinking about is that defense and Briggs in net and anything is possible.

If UND is a fourth seed it won't happen. I can see UND getting in on a 4th seed.

I think Lee looked shaky all weekend. I noticed this on Friday as well, just not with it, not making the right pass at the right time. I think its because he is still young and barely out of High School. I think he will improve in the next year after a summer of weight training and skating.

Tim Thomas has been the man in Boston since they lost their top goaltender, Raycroft has faultered and Tim has taken the load as the number one goaltender. Also, Tim was the top goaltender in the Finnish elite league last season.

Bus is leaving the station on the Jordy Bandwagon. I am definately on it. I was also on it last season too so I have reserved a seat on it again.

I doubt it, I bet Hak rides JPar the rest of the way. Jordy has proven to be a top line goalie and I have little confidence in Phil right now.

Denver is going to be a dog fight I watched them play last weekend on FCS channel 316 ( I wounder if the UND and DU games are on that channel next weekend) and they looked pretty good solid on Defense, especially Matt Carle. I think UND can get a few past Fisher on Friday night then I think they can at least get a split. MSU-M played without Backus on Saturday night and didn't give DU much of a fight but I think UND can play them tougher than Mankato did. I hopeful for at least a split next weekend, that being said the Sioux need to go into Denver on the heels of a good weekend of play prior to that series hopefully with a sweep of the Bull Daugs.

Anything less that a sweep is unacceptable. There is no sugar coating it.

I would actually like to see us get a bigger goalie like elliot of Wisconsin. I just think being bigger they cover more of the net. I Think our goalies have been a little small and they tend to get run over with no reguard from the opposing teams.

One thing I have learned about the pro-name change crowd there is nothing that they will agree to except the name being changed period. End of discussion. In fact there is no discussion. So I really think Charles is doing a good job by meeting the tribes and keeping an on going dialog with them. I think this should have been done a long time ago but I give him credit for trying.

Try making the person buy beers who's team is ahead at the end of the periods. Its always a fun way to make bets, unfortunately I sat with a gopher fan on Fridays game at the REA in december and I never have a beer bought for me. Buying 6.00 beers can get expensive.

I can think of two Jr's from ND playing down at Minnesota that I wolud love to see signed after this season.
