  1. It will have little if any effect. Last year's Natty will be more of a factor.
  2. I can tell you that I watched BSC football on the BSC AP and the coverage was fabulous. The only bad broadcast was the last game on the road that UND played. It's was much better than CC and Western Michigans webcasts.
  3. Anything less than a convincing sweep is unacceptable.
  4. It was blatant.
  5. Yes, I know... His father Andy was Gersich's coach in 10-year-old youth hockey.
  6. Their broadcasts are top notch comparable with CBSSN, I wish more of UND's away games were on ASN. The CBS crew is better though.
  7. I would imagine. He's a Freshman in high school here's his stats.
  8. Apparently, my nephew just became a Pioneer. My sister just broke the bad news to me. His dad was former Golden Gopher Andy Brink.
  9. This season, I 've read some of the comments (message boards and social media) on Cam Johnson and I thought I might add my two cents. I think people have short memories when it comes to Cam. Johnson also had an outstanding career record and garnered All-American honors last season. IMHO, he's the best goalie of the four. Also, Matt Hrynkiw has bid his time and worked hard to get where he's at. Hrynkiw assumes nothing and has worked for everything that he's gotten. Last season, Hrynkiw stepped in and performed well while Johnson was hurt. I don't know any media member, smug or not that wants Matej Tomek to fail. Except for his appearances in the WJC, he's struggled. Also, UND doesn't have a lot of wiggle room. Coach Berry probably felt that he desperately needed to get the win and pulled Tomek to spark his team. Tomek wasn't playing well, either was the team in front of him. Back in December, I Interviewed Johnson. I didn't throw him any softballs. Right out of the gate, I asked him the question point blank. What do you think of the calls for you to sit for a game or two? Johnson being the stand-up kid that he is, he answered the question. Funny thing, I think Hennessy asked him just about the same question during his Tuesday radio show a few weeks ago. Johnson's reply was about the same.
  10. Ryan Lambert probably had a stroke after that game.
  11. I hope I don't get fragged here, but I think Casey Johnson has been a nice surprise this season. Also, I've been impressed with Colton Poolman.
  12. Today, is a very good day.
  13. I don't know if it's possible, can't teach an old dog new tricks. :-)
  14. I took that class, Phillip Moore and I were the only men in my Women's Studies class. I recommend that everyone take that class. I found it informative. Didn't agree with a lot of the militant feminist stuff, but it was an interesting experience.
  15. Let's not forget UND offered buyouts to select employees.
  16. That's what some on her are saying just cut women's hockey and that will fix a lot of the UND Athletics department's problems. Last time I checked, that's been a fantasy for many on this board. Has it not? So...
  17. Count me in. The University has already said they're not cutting women's hockey.
  18. Yeah, but I get WDAY though.
  19. Why are we blaming me?
  20. My intramural ball hockey team at BSU won a title back in 1992, SO... I have game.
  21. I see a lot of talent. 8 freshmen and 11 Sophomores. Yon is going to be a great offensive player I think he has good hands and a decent shot. Dixon Bowen is great and upcoming forward with incredible speed, motor never stops. Hoff has grit and offensive talent. I like his mean streak. I like Smith's grit and he never quits. He's a diamond in the rough. All three Freshmen on the backend have made great strides. I really like Casey Johnson. I like the freshmen line of Yon, Hoff and Bowen. They're great forecheckers.
  22. UMD is a veteran team, they have seven seniors on their team. Last time I checked, UND is a team that has 19 underclassmen. UND also lost four Juniors in the offseason. Imagine if Stecher, LJ, Schmaltz and LaDue had returned? That's a lot of experience that left.
  23. Ding, ding, ding. Spot on.
  24. Or not, Duluth is known for being a suitcase college. A lot of the students go home on the weekend. Or at least it was during my college days. Of course I am old like Mafia Man.
  25. You probably would need to pick the middle teams, too. I am conducting an experiment to see if the Fan Poll matches the Inside Hockey blogger poll.
