Briggs didn't look very good against Denver in Denver a few weeks back. But like my brother said, you have lots of offense mediocre (sp) goaltending doesn't matter.

I don't think I ever said the GOOOPhers weren't good. I said that I am not convinced that they are going to win the whole ball of wax this season. There area lot of games. There are a lot of good teams too. I remember UofM giving up about 7 goals last weekend to the Pios in Denver. Also, If I remember my post (since I wrote it) I remember sayin that UND started out in simular fashion last season, tearing it up. I also said that Championships are won in March and April, not October, November and December. If you read my post further I compared its UND's season last year. They cruise out to a lead in the WCHA, win a lot of games score some goals and then wahla, they end up going into a slump. I am not saying they will, I hope they do though. Beside UND has beat UofM this year so big hairy deal. Another tidbit, ussually the WCHA champ doesn't always win the NCAA. If I remember right the last couple of winners were like in third or fourth in the league. Denver might have even been 5th. Enjoy the season. Lastly, I don't remember it being critical to give the gooophers props, they are hated rivals.

Karl G. has off nights and he still won games and he lost some games. After last nights game I don't think the UND coaches have to panic about Lammy's play... I blame the team in front of him for giving up three PP goals.

I have a feeling UND is going to get hosed next weekend because Pitt State has the better record. I think UND can shut their offense down but they are going to have to score some points next weekend.

I don't know about you but I am pleased with the game the Blow Dogs are playing right now. I have neve thought Reichmuth could win the big games when he needed to. I think that is why Johnson is getting more of the starts. I think UMD is finding out that their Hobey Baker award winner from last season was pretty important to their success.

I think once UofM has to play away from home and gets into the meet of their conference season we will see how the chips fall. They have lost to two lesser teams this season already, Denver and UAA. I am still not convinced Briggs is that good of a goaltender. I remember hearing how titles are won in March and April and not during October, November and December, (Yikes I heard that some where not too long ago), the Gophers are reminding me of last years Sioux. Lets see if they can win in Febuary, March and April when Briggs can't stop a beach ball.

I do it makes beating them in their own regional more fun.

Sievbida is actually 1-1 with a .909 save percentage. However his GAA is 3.74

Last weekend Lammy and JPar played good in my opinion. I would stay with that rotation. While some aren't confortable with JPar in net, I feel the same way about Brandt. I would have to say that Lammy should get the start tonight he has earned it. Looking at the stats this year Lammy is in the top 10 in the NCAA. Thats pretty good since there are many great goaltenders in Division one hockey. Lammy has earned the starts based on his play and his numbers...

I would have to say that nothing less than a sweep this weekend would be exceptable. MTU is a bottom feeder and is 1-10 for a reason. They aren't that good.

Sounds like a lot of fun. I off to shoot some rooster tomorrow. Nothing beats watching your dog bring back a duck or pheasant on a hunt. Except maybe Title #8

I think Hennen is pretty good at PAing. I he puts some emotion into the announcing of names. Frankly I can't stand Brian Lee Rivers. I am thankful he doesn't do hockey any more.

I would look as being a life long Gopher fan a character flaw and UND shouldn't want anything to do with this kid. Honestly maybe I am looking at the world through kelly green glasses but I can't for the life of me understand how a logically sane kid from North Dakota who lives on the west side of the border would chose UofM over his home town team. To each their own.

IS this weekends game on Data Flix? I have to give it a try if so.

Is it for sure that the game is in Grand Forks this weekend? I am hoping it is. I hope the Al is rocking this weekend. I hope there will be a lot of people if true even though it is a holiday weekend.

Can't sign all the top recruits. Also anyone know what recruit Berry was picking up at the airport yesterday? It would be interesting to know who was visiting this weekend?

Heck not necessary, just be in the top three in the WCHA. Get a home series and win, get to the Final Five and not have to play in the play in game. Or as Denver did last season. Lose and end up resting and win your region and head to the Frozen Four. Scoring a total of what 5 goals through the NCAA's and win it all...

Sweep at home split on the road. I think UND can sweep UMD at their place if they play good defense. UND looked close to getting out of their scoring slump this weekend. Good solid defense this weekend. JPar look better as the game went on. I think UMD lost a portion of their talent from last season also. I think UND is also like 5-0 against UMD too. So who knows.

That appears to be happening. Jordy and Lammy I think make a pretty good goaltending combination. Now we need to get a third goaltending recruit for next season for at least practice.
