Is hockey that big in Cali? Just wondering?

Just a little not to let all you guys and gals that like to hunts ducks and waterfowl. The big ducks from up north are starting to make their way down to ND. I have been out this week and the action is starting to pick up. This season has been pretty tough because it has been nice. If I would have put golf clubs in my Blazer it would be raining. Its been really nice. I think the weather is starting to turn in favor of the hunters. The weather has not good for Ducks and Geese. Finally, today is perfect, wind from the south and raining. 40 degrees. Cheers and good Luck hunting. By the way don't believe the people that think there is too much hunting pressure, contrary to public belief there is not enough pressure as of yet to keep them moving.

Last season I was at X-Cel Energy center and I ran into a guy wearing a #15 Palmo jersey. Said oh are you from North Dakota, the guy was from Wisconsin and was a badger fan. Oh, I said I am sorry... He,he,he... Guy went on to say that he had met and been befriended by the Palmoscino family. Thought that was weird not the fact that the guy had been a fan of the Tyler but that fact that this was a Badger fan wearing a UND jersey. I don't know about you guys but I would never under any circumstances wear a red menace or a dirty Gopher Jersey.

I see your point also, good point, get the recruits and maybe our opponents will look at last weeks results and say hey those guys are good. I think anything other than a sweep in MSU-M is unexceptable. Especially after a sweep at Umaine.

Pretty impressive in my book too. I suppose UND will move up in the polls this week even though polls don't matter that much this time of year.

I would disagree Jordan played good last night too so I think they both have earned more starts. I would like to see Lammy play next weekend against Mavs.

There is hope the one goal that DU scored made Briggs look silly. Nothing has changed in the Minnesota net this season.

Mine is working pretty well not as crisp when I maximize it. But I am watching the game and that is all that matters.

Olypic rinks suck period. There is no flow to game in one of these god awful rinks. The checking part of the games suffers because there is more room. The old Aud and the Boston Garden were perfect examples of what can happen in a smaller rink. There was all kinds of open ice hits as well as good hits on the boards. The bigger rinks take this aspect out of the game. NHL rinks rule. On a second point: Not to say that your argument is flawed because its not, but what makes you think that by the end of the season the Refs will still be on board with the clutching and grabbing and calling them as penatlies. I for one doubt the refs will stay with the program.

Hum, I think that is going to be a hard decision. I would take the duck hunting. By the way its been a pretty good ducktober... Lots of water all over the place. Lots of Gadwell and Teal around also. Finally shot a few Mallards yesterday. I believe the big ducks aren't down from Canada yet.

Notice the size of the defense men, their monsters... I think that was done on fault. Fast up front, big defense in the back. Having Fast speedy forwards is fine. But I also think UND needs a few bigger forwards too. Being too small up front can be a liability. UND needs to have a nice mix between speedy guys and bigger guys. There are going to be teams that can't skate with UND, so they are going to try and slow down UND and mucking it up, hooking, slashing, holding. This is not always going to get the proper attention it deserves from the refs ala Schmidt (2)...

I am sure a lot of us would like to have him still on the team, however, I think Travis may get us to forget about Bucks... The kid could have one awesome season. I can see it already: Zajac has an awesome season this year and fans to the south of us start pointing to our schedule with the likes of BSU and Canisus on it. Oh well I could care less.

This kid is the real deal, and he compliments Stafford real well. I think that line could do some damage.

I think its lip service. It would be nice to see them call the games that way but, UND has been the victim of crappy reffing for years. I don't see it changing over night because of a new mission statement from the NCAA.

Why they don't need to. They have enough games they can play without getting into these matchups.
