Good point Schmidty. Back to Briggs, I would be worried if I were their coach right now. I said it earlier in the Season that Briggs is still Briggs, meaning he aint that good, and its becoming evident. I was called out and told I didn't know what I am talking about. I would still rather have Jordon Parise or Lammy in stead of the gopher sieve. Looks like UofM is starting to crumble. I am not scared of UND having to play UofM in their building during the regionals.

I agree with this guys, however, the greed of the players is going to keep the game from going on this season. The owners are also to blame since they paid these guys these contracts. There will be no season until a ground swell of players say we will play with a cap.

I like Canadian traditional NHL hockey. I think there are too many Russians and Europeans in the NHL. I read some where that Euros might be less apt to come to the NHL if their cost certainy. I am fine with that. I guess I like Don Cherry Rock and Sock em hockey.

PCM your not the know all of UND hockey, but you seem to spend a lot of time lecturing people if your were the master guru. Also your opinion isn't the only one that matters, and if you actually got past your arrogance you would find out your missing the point. What I am saying and your not getting it is that Stafford will never be the guy to take his team on his back, like Panzer, Goren, Blake. It has nothing to do with age, or the type of players they were Goren is not the same type of player that Panser is. So come down off your high horse. I suppose you still think Brandt is an awesome goalie too. What is comes down to is someone has to become a leader and stop making excuses.

I think we got bigger because of the all the clutching and grabbing that was going on. I think this why we have these skating line backers on the defense. Your right we need some speed too. Sounds like some of the guys coming next season can fly.

Last time I saw Sedivie play (he is no Grady Hunt) he was getting lit up like christmas tree by the Niagra purple eagles (they aren't good). Almost Siembieda like. I have a bunch of friends in Bemidji that are rabbid BSU fans and the word around BSU country is that this is BSU superbowl, stanley cup. The Beaver fans are way confident and thinking they can put some smack down on the Mighty Sioux. A lot of the BSU fans think the Beavers are going to come into the Ralph and beat UND they are all but saying its going to happen. I have three cases of beer bet that the Sioux will not lose to BSU. I personally don't think BSU is that good of a hockey team. I would compare them to the caliber of a MTU. The CHA is pathetic. I can see this being a hard game to get up for.

If I am not mistake old wise one, I believe I was agreeing with you. But since you are the all knowing on this web page we will let it go at that. Second Panzer is like third on the all time list so I believe he is close to a Hrkac in what he meant to this team. For someone to accomplish those numbers you would have to average 62 points a year for 4 years.

That is the point, Jeff Panzer would score in any way shape or form to win the game, he was a leader a crowd pleaser. I think having players like him made us spoiled. The point is that Jeff Panzer was a play maker, and was beloved by all of the fans. Drew Stafford is a wing with talent that appears to be going half speed most of the time, that every once in a while makes plays have you shaking his head, you want to see it more. Jeff Panzer did it all the time. Panzer was the Kirby Pucket of UND, come on guys lets go get the win and he took the team on his back and got it done. This years version of UND hockey appears to be used to losing or playing to compete and look good. UND is a team that is no longer feared. I don't know what it is maybe its the new arena. We got a bunch of pretty boys, but we need to the rough and tough blue chippers. We need players like Adam Calder and Matt Hendersons. I believe Zach and Bo were also those types of players. I am saying Drew is a good player, however, he is half as good as Jeff. I honestly don't know what the NHL is seeing in him that makes him a number one. If I was a GM I would rather have a guy like Colby Genoway or Lee Goren someone who leaves it on the ice, not someone who complains about being tired during a Weekend series.

I say we sign him, he sounds like a Prpich clone. We need a few players like him. I think we have too many pretty boys on the team we need a few to go into the corners and hit.

I was at the game where BSU got beat 6-2 by Niagra, there is no reason UND should ever lose to BSU, and a loss to them would be unexceptable and rule the Sioux not playoff worthy in my opinion.
