I figured you were being sarcastic as was I. I am sick and tired of people threating the Sioux players and coaches with Kids Gloves, the coddeling must stop. Recruits are not going to change their mind because of what Goon, Sprig, Scott_M, Forecheck or Dagies think or write on a fan web page, PCM maybe, buts thats a different story he is a media guru/beat writer.

No offense to the pollsters but I don't think Minny, Wisco and Michigan are that far above UND. Besides Wisconsin has 6/10 on the road. This weekend should be a wake up call for UND. The ball is in their court.

Actually I lived out in the Boston area for a couple of years and used to take in Bruins and Sox games, up to this year I followed the Bruins on the NHL hockey package, up until the lock out this season. I am happy as heck that the BoSox beat the dirty Yankees. I think nothing is more obnoxious than Yankees fans. Gopher fans are tame compared to them. I love Fenway park the place rocks, its a throw back stadium, to bad we are tearing all of these stadiums down. However, I more of a Bruins fan than a Sox fan. People in North Dakota I don't really know how rabbid the sports fans in the Boston area are. I remember when I moved to the the Boston area in 1988 after being stationed in Germany, the Boston area was still smarting/mad as hell about losing the world serieds. I can remember how bitter Sox Fans were with Bob Stanley (AKA the Steamer) they blamed him for losing the series, these fas were even so mad that some of them destroyed his kids toys that has been left in his yard. People dispised Bill Buckner for missing the easy play at I belive first base that cost the Red Sox the series. Some still think he was on the take.

You have to be a 13 year old. Players do not care what is written on a message board frequented by fans. We fans not coaches. Get a grip. If you go to Montreal or Boston the papers are harsh on players that play poor as well as the fans. Ask Bob Stanley in Boston after he gave up the winning hit that won the game for the Mets and lost it for the Sox. I am pretty sure these kids can take a little criticizism. If you listened to Greene in his interview with Tim H. He took no ownership for the penalty he took at the end of the game, Matt was blaming the ref. What a leader.

Redwing I don't think your getting the point. People are upset with Greene because of the lack of discipline he has displayed this season. Greene took a stupid penalty for the umpteenth time this season, it could have been seen as selfish play. Matt hurt the team again, its becoming the MO for the UND hockey team, they aren't playing as a team they are playing as groups of players, without any unity at all. They are just going through the motions. Last night actuallywas positive up until the point we got into penatly trouble. I think maybe the guys need a wake up call from Carey Eades or something. Actually at times I think maybe Eades is the one that should be the head coach the one leading this team. They have no heart. I think they need more players like Prpich out there giving their all and playing banged up. I miss the days of taking a stupid penatly you head to the locker room after. Miss a defensive play you sit. I am not sure why you believe that fans can't criticize the plays our players. They are not gods they are hockey players. Greene's un-timely penalty last night killed any chance that UND had of getting back in the game. Prpich's just salted it away even further, although I can forgive big Mike he is one of the few that play every play of every game. The guy played with a sore sholder. People should expect more from their so called team leaders like Greene. That is why he is wearing the "C" these kids shouldn't be immune from criticizism. The 2004-2005 version of the fighting Sioux have dissappointed this year. Right now they are flurting with not even making the tourney. It appears that guys are happy just to be on the team. With this team there is no reason they should finish in 5th place in the WCHA...

We are kidding ourselves if think that Matt will be here next season.

According to the owner of the Carolina Hurricanes he thinks the season will be lost and stated he could afford to bag another season if he has to, to get a labor agreement. It doesn't look well for the NHL.

I actually wasn't sold on him when he was doing better earlier in the season. I know there are Gophers fans out there that feel the same way. I am sure that if Lucia has any confidence in J.J. he would be out on the ice.
