I am really surprised that fans of a team that is working on their fifth consecutive FCS title feels the need to come on here and complain about what our fans say on our discussion forum. And your HC whining in the paper this morning about how he got sick of hearing about UND's defense, which is way better than what it was two years ago, during the week leading up to the game was real low-class. So the media doesn't talk about the Bison 24/7/365 and totally ignore the team they are playing? Get over it! Is he going to do that during the MVFC season too ("I am really sick of hearing about what Northern Iowa brings to the table")? I certainly hope not. Bubba obviously inherited an apocalyptic mess and is doing what he can to clean it up. And it's going to take more than one recruiting class, some Mussman leftovers and some transfers sprinkled in to do that. But when (not if, but when) we get our program up to the level where we are competing for FCS titles, I would hope that our fan base, media and coaches won't behave like the world revolves around us and nothing and nobody else matters. Just another reason why I will never cheer for NDSU under the guise of supporting the State of North Dakota. Never.

Maybe someone on here can shoot you a PM and tell you when it is safe to go to a game again? Either you support the program or you don't. I still think we will pull off some wins this year we wouldn't have last year and definitely not two years ago. If all we do is look at W's and L's, it gets really depressing.

You are assuming this team won't get any better at all from now to the end of the season. I think we will get better day by day, practice by practice, game by game and recruit by recruit. It took the Thomas regime six years to reach the playoffs and seven years to beat NDSU. Bubba is early on in year two. We have to maintain a long-term perspective on this team. #daybyday

The problem with the offense is the O-line. Changing the quarterback is not going to fix anything at this point. Bubba and company are going to stay the course and let the offensive players learn on the job. There is no real credible alternative right now. This staff inherited one of the worst teams in program history and has exactly one recruiting class of its own to work with, along with some leftovers from the Mussman regime and some transfers. People need to get their butts to the Alerus Center next Saturday and every home game after that and support the team and the program. I will be there next week. Will you?

This excuse gets really old. Let's face it, once Rocky ran out of players from the previous regime he never could get the program back to the level it was throughout most of the 1980's. Roger Thomas and Dale Lennon just flat-out beat NDSU for the best players and won more big games during the 1990's. It was not caused by the NCAA cutting scholarships. And once Bubba has this program back to what it once was in the early 2000's, you won't be copping that smug, arrogant attitude on here anymore. Enjoy your dominance while it lasts; all good things eventually come to an end.

The Imperial Cass-Clay County media has been successful at painting a very biased, one-sided and baselessly inaccurate picture of the two major universities in North Dakota over the past 5 years. The picture of UND is that of an institution which is flat broke and can't and/or won't fund anything not related to Men's Ice Hockey.The picture of NDSU is that of an institution that is flush with cash and can fund anything it wants, whenever it wants. Not to mention some of the subtle hints that they could go FBS whenever they wanted, they just don't want to.That picture is bought into by a vast majority of the FU fan base and, I am sorry to say, a decent sized section of our own fan base (We can't afford to do this or that because....something men's hockey) has also bought into it. Well, I don't believe it. And until someone posts solid, irrefutable facts to the contrary, I will stand by that position.

Yeah, he's a hardcore fan.....of NDSU! That is why he wants to leave UND "bereft". And that is why I will never support NDSU, with the possible exception of when it benefits UND somehow. And that doesn't happen too often.

I only have lived in one floor apartments, so I cannot speak to having multiple floors. And I have used only one fan in the 12 plex unit I lived in a few years ago and it worked marvelously. I did keep the door of the second bedroom (which I used for storage) closed, but the primary bedroom, bathroom, living room and kitchen were always temperate during even the hottest summer days.

Disagree based on personal experience. If you run it regularly instead of shutting it off and then putting it back on after it heats up inside it will keep your place nice and cool. Of course, this depends on the quality of the unit.

Okay, everyone needs to calm down and get off the ledge. It's one game in a 16 game season. Remember, Seattle started out 4-4 last season and ended up in the Super Bowl and probably should have won it. I also think the 49ers are probably better than most people thought; reports of their demise have been exaggerated. I don't know if this is a playoff team or not, but 9-7 or 10-6 is realistic and would be a big step up from last year.
