  1. Way too predictable on offense. Run, Run, Pass, Punt. Rinse. Repeat. I could game plan against our offense because it's the same old crap week after week. And why are we always starting over on the O-Line every year? We better start hanging onto players or it will always be in a rebuilding phase.
  2. But that's because of the tropical climate in Montana, right? At least that is what we have heard from some people on this forum.
  3. One slight correction here.....Bubba wants this program to eventually get beyond winning conference championships....if you get my drift.
  4. So SDSU can build a program that has reached the point where they won't hit the road for non-conference games, in a town much smaller than Grand Forks (Brookings), but we just can't do it? I say we hold Jones responsible for the on-court product and hold Faison responsible for the scheduling of our opponents. If MBB isn't getting the resources to do the job right, then that needs to change. If we want to be serious about being a Division I mid-major institution, the MBB program must be elevated to a similar level as NDSU and SDSU. At the rate we are going, USD will make the Big Dance before UND does.
  5. This should be the motto for all our programs. Well said and well done.
  6. That should be off the table and never be mentioned again.
  7. Possibly you can not be such a smart-a$$.
  8. I cannot stand either of these types of drivers.
  9. I suppose we could do what Omaha does and have dirt roads. http://whkradio.com/news/articles/omahas-answer-to-pothole-complaints-a-new-dirt-road If Terry Bjerke had won the Mayoral race in June, this very well might have been the future of Grand Forks roads. Thank God he got thumped by 20 points.
  10. Note to you.....I agree with you as I have season tickets to both teams. I just hate to see some people throwing in the towel after one freaking game. As for the second part of your comment, that is a problem that needs to be solved. We need to get people excited about FB again, like back in the early 2000's.
  11. Listen to the tone of some of these posters. Some of them have mentally checked out of FB and are looking ahead to October 1st.
  12. The thing is, we won't know how good SB is until four to five games in. Same thing with our team or any other.
  13. It's one game. Man, a lot of people jumping off the ship already.
  14. You mean USD. Big difference in quality there.
  15. In Zimmer We Trust The Vikings will find a veteran to fill in for 2016 and will continue getting better on defense and in the running game behind a much better offensive line. Remember, Mike Tice isn't in charge anymore.
  16. This is a fair point to bring up. However, the time for UND to drop FB would have been at the beginning of our transition, like Omaha did. Now with Bubba and his staff in charge and the program on the upswing, it isn't going to happen. I think the point people are making is that women's hockey doesn't have the future potential in terms of revenue and on-ice success that other programs on campus have.
  17. You are describing the mission statement for high school athletics. But this isn't high school athletics. It's collegiate athletics.
  18. Does this mean you don't care about UND football? Because we are at the same level as FU.
  19. I wouldn't read too much into that. Women's hockey has to be under consideration for cutting or else this entire exercise will be a waste of time. At least that is the sense I get from Kennedy's statements.
  20. I loved that show.
  21. Wow, somebody has a grudge against Rhombus!
  22. If he wants a quick one-way trip out of town, that would do it.
  23. I was talking about each conference's respective standing in the world of mid-major Division I conferences. And in that respect, they are both considered lower-tier, one-bid leagues.
