  1. The fix is in.
  2. And that could be it until 2016.
  3. When the Bison get screwed out of a playoff spot and/or a seeding decision, I look forward to you coming on here and saying the same thing.
  4. The FCS will rue the day that this team was jobbed out of a hard-earned playoff spot this year. Judgement Day is coming.
  5. I am thinking we should start scheduling SEC teams every year so we can have at least one "quality loss" on our resume.
  6. Hey, if you want to join the haters, be my guest. I'll stick with the Alumni Association and their hard work making this a better place.
  7. Well, you did predict the next FB coach two years ago.
  8. I also have seen talented teams (the San Diego Chargers of the mid-2000's for example) underachieve and fall far short of expectations.
  9. Faison left Mussman in place way too long. And he gave him that ill-advised extension after winning the "prestigious" Great West Football Conference Championship. The fact that Bubba has turned the program around much sooner than most of us ever dared to imagine does not change the fact that Faison was slow to pull the trigger.
  10. And the positive exposure it would give our program.
  11. The program is going in the right direction. In a couple of years, no one will remember those "second half collapses".
  12. Good coaching attracts better players.
  13. Should be, but won't be. Remember, there are some people in our fan base that think Mussman got a raw deal. Jones will be allowed to finish his current contract and whomever takes over will have to clean up the mess. That's the Faison Way.
  14. And that is happening.
  15. They could do worse. A lot worse. It would also put Lennon back into the Midwest, where he has had most of his success.
  16. The seat has to be getting warm for him. They built all new facilities when they hired Lennon (stadium included) and they haven't done all that much with them.
  17. If that is the case, where did this "7 FCS wins" criteria come from? It gets thrown around like it's an actual rule.
  18. I don't know; it just looks like it was pre-conceived.
  19. As Mr. Spock would say: "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of a few. Or the one."
  20. LOL, that was funny! And true!
  21. As I said above, the fix was in.
  22. No you are not, I AM, because you are right, this does NOT add up. If the minimum standard is 7 FCS wins, why would a 6 FCS win team ever think they would be picked? That makes ZERO sense. If they were just watching to see how their conference did, that would be a possible explanation. But even that is a stretch.
  23. The fix was in.
  24. As you should be. But know this; Bubba and his staff will use this snub as prime bulletin board material all off-season (spring practice, summer strength and conditioning, fall practice). And it will only motivate our younger guys even more to come out on fire next season. I think Bowling Green is in for a fight against us.
  25. That makes sense. And I would be against it. 24 is too big as it is.
