I meant if they are in field goal range and it's 4th down and they have to go for it because they don't have a kicker because they didn't have a replacement lined up. But I think we are on the same page on this. I imagine they have someone they want and haven't announced it yet.

Unless they want to go for two after every TD and go for it on every 4th down, they better have a replacement ready.

So based on these responses, we should just lock the attendance thread and not talk about it anymore, because the die is cast? I respectfully disagree. There are people who can't afford hockey, but could afford football and these are the people we need to get and in many cases are not getting.

This was the same song and dance I heard when REA was being built. We will never, EVER fill a 12,000 seat arena. E-V-E-R. Well, how did that work out? We need to stop thinking small and start thinking big. There are several Slummit League schools in large metro areas that are virtually invisible in their own communities; metro area size is not the end all and be all of attendance. Think small and that is what you will be. Think big and you will meet and even exceed your goals. We need a second revenue-generating sport on campus and FB has the most potential upside of all the non-hockey programs.

Then why the obsession with us from their fans, to their media and so on? They shouldn't care what we are doing, but they obviously do.

We lost a TON of talent over the off-season. We haven't lost this many guys at the same time for awhile and it shows on the ice right now. But these guys will get better and we have good kids coming in. Way too soon to push the panic button.

I wasn't blaming the guy. I was saying that if kids don't want to be here, they should transfer. Having players in the locker room who don't want to be there is poisonous to team chemistry and attitude.

If he didn't want to stick around following the coaching change, then we are better off without him. Bubba now has guys that want to be here and believe in what he is trying to build. That is why we have reeled off 8 consecutive wins.

This is why players who leave early often regret it afterwards.

If we win, we will have a chance to have a home playoff game. So by filling the place, we will increase our chances of having one more game. If we end up with 6,000 or *gulp* less, I will be very disappointed in our fans.
