Unless he had a good chance of playing in the NHL right away, he shouldn't leave. He could very well get buried on the depth chart in the minors and never be heard from again. Also, he has had one great year; he could use some more seasoning and so he can prove that this year wasn't a fluke. Which I don't think it was.

Claiming to be "national champions" this year is no different than all the Pre-College Football Playoff "national champions". It's just like MLB in 1994, no champion this year.

All I said is that current NCAA student-athletes get an extra year of eligibility because of all this. Nothing more, nothing less.

Those are good questions. I just think we need to do what is best for the student-athletes that are in college now. Graduating seniors deserve another shot at winning conference and/or national titles. Not to mention the memories and experiences of being on a team.

I think the NCAA should grant an extra year of eligibility for all student-athletes no matter the sport. They are being cheated out of playoff games and post-season tournaments because of something completely out of their (and their school's) control. Push the reset button on eligibility and give these young men and women another year.

The NCAA tournament games are being held without fans. I have not heard anything from the NCHC regarding their tournament.

Until I hear from the NCHC, I am not changing my plans. They better make a decision on that this week.
