It's one thing after another with this program.

Man, you know things are bad when we start trading jokes.

Unfortunately, you will have some people defending Sadlocha and claiming he is being "persecuted".

2022-23 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

Didn't we have one season where we had to have one particular team lose so we could get in? I think it was 2014. -

We lost in the 2001 NCAA title game the year before. We won NCAA title #7 the year before that (2000). -

The only losing season Blais had was the first season in the new REA (2001-2002). -

Yep, because this is no different than high school (sarcasm). -

I'll take "Completely missing the point for $500, Alex." Maybe you are okay with what happened last night, but I am not. This is a fan forum. People come on here to vent after a loss and celebrate after a win. Don't act shocked when people do those things. As for ".....appreciate the efforts of a group of young men, trying their hardest to not disappoint", this isn't freaking high school athletics, although watching how UND runs their athletic department, it is hard to tell the difference sometimes. All that is missing is selling baked goods at the front door. And no, my "self-esteem" is not measured by what happens at a sporting event. But I wouldn't be a fan if I didn't care whether or not the team does well. That is called indifference and it is the polar opposite of love, not hate as some people think. Don't agree with this. That is fine, but please don't tell me what and how to think. Thank you. -
Minnesota Vikings 2022-2023

Then how do you explain last week? The Bills are a top 5 team in the NFL. It's classic let-down. -

I think there is an emotional letdown after last week. The Cowboys are bipolar; one week they are sloppy and undisciplined, the next they are world-beaters. -

So he's Rube Bjorkman 2.0? God help us. -

The point is we don't want to end up like Nebraska FB. And since when does this program ever "embrace the suck"? That is the last thing we should do. Ever. -

Grand Forks has never been as attractive as Denver or Ann Arbor or even Minneapolis. Minnesota's recent recruiting success has more to do with replacing Lucia with Motzko than the almighty Big Ten. Denver and Duluth show that small schools can still win. The thought of our program becoming a permanent also-ran is nauseating to me. I hope it is to everyone else here too. -

Look at 1993-94 for the answer. -
And that sound you hear is Coyote fans dumping their season tickets.

Not unless you want to argue that Miami is "a good hockey team". -
Stop feeding fueledbybull$hit and he'll take his BS back to Bisonville.

Go back to your ramen noodles lunch.

Yes, he is wearing ear muffs too.

College GameDay is in Missoula for Montana-Montana St. Those guys look frozen solid; they are so used to being in tropical SEC locations.

We have got to clean that crap up.

One shift at a time. One game at a time. One weekend at a time. That is how we dig out of this early season hole.

Ideally, you want a sprinkling of 1-2 year players (early round draft picks) along with a solid core group of 3-4 year players (to provide stability and leadership). Building your team entirely of 1-2 year players doesn't work because they don't stick around that long. Building your team entirely of 3-4 year players doesn't work because you don't have enough scoring punch up front. We do need to stop losing recruiting battles left and right. I don't even read the "Prospective Recruits" thread anymore because every time I look at it, it's more bad news.

I think most of us have tried to forget that season.
