  1. Homecoming is next weekend.
  2. I wondered how long it would take you to call me out for expressing an opinion you don't like. It's one of your favorite hobbies. Anyway, back to the topic at hand......... He basically said if you don't like it, pay the money so you can sit there. I know how to read between the lines and I know what a crock of horse$%!@ is when I see it, hear it and smell it. He also said it isn't changing, so they are obviously not responding to the empty seats. Btw, this is Year 2 of this failed experiment. You know what the definition of insanity is, right? If the real reason is safety of the spectators, then just come out and say it. Don't talk to people like they are stupid. As I said, this is something you try after you sell out your home games. Not before.
  3. We tried that. We were basically told to pay up or shut up.
  4. REA ushers are in charge of this?
  5. @gfhockey isn't always wrong. On this issue, he makes sense.
  6. Another example of UND not updating web sites and announcing changes. It really is beneath this institution of ours.
  7. Didn't they use most of that money on those glow-in-the-dark basketball uniforms?
  8. If you think this whole idea is "sol-id", just come out and say it. The worst part isn't the idea though, its the arrogance of the people in charge (if you don't like it, pay the money and sit there). Last time I checked, consumers purchase what they want; they don't do what the merchants tell them to do. This arrogant attitude won't help them fill those seats. Yes, I can and will blame them for doing this. This is something you do when you are selling out the arena for every home game. But we are not there yet, for any number of reasons, so the idea is idiotic. It is clear that it isn't working. And as long as people can walk up to the box office on game day and buy a ticket, it will continue to not work. And no amount of scolding and preaching from the suits (pay up and shut up) will change that. This is one example of how out-of-touch these people are and it does no favors for our programs. FULL DISCLOSURE: I never stood there and watched games (I prefer sitting my butt down for the game), but I think the people that did have a legitimate gripe about this.
  9. But Lennon hasn't been there for awhile now.
  10. Don't give them any ideas.
  11. The arrogance of telling people that if you don't like it, buy a ticket to sit there is astounding. If they think scolding us like ill-behaved school children is going to get people to pony up the cash, they are in for a nasty surprise. They can keep pushing this, but I think the people have spoken with their wallets.
  12. Giants. But I don't think they have enough talent to sustain anything.
  13. Really? All those empty seats say otherwise. They won't tell us the real reason because it probably would spark more outrage and create a PR headache they don't want to deal with.
  14. Can we stop the name calling?
  15. This guy might take advantage of the opportunity that Grady threw away twice.
  16. I was wondering that myself today. If apathy is starting to set in amongst our fan base, that is a very bad sign.
  17. The Non Fan Fans hang out in the bars.
  18. If we don't give up big plays, we win. If we do, we lose. Simple as that.
  19. Watching the D-2 Semifinal from 2001 (vs. UC-Davis) on YouTube. Wish we could get back to playing in games like that.
  20. One of the greatest stick-handlers to ever play here.
  21. They could have plans for a building that have not been announced yet. Tearing down Bek and Hancock will leave a huge unused space in the middle of campus.
