The inability to get 6 and settle for 3 in the red zone is starting to get old.
-
Where has that been the last 3 weeks?!!

So let me see if I got this....if you have you vaccine card because you were vaccinated this summer, you can go to the game. If you have not been vaccinated, you have to test 72 hours before the game. If you get tested and you test positive, you can't attend. If you have proof of vaccination and you have Covid even that day of the game, you are allowed to go to the game. Just making sure I got it.

Future FBS games in the schedule. 2022 - Nebraska 2023 - Boise St 2024 - Iowa St 2025 - Kansas St 2026 - Nebraska 2027 - Missouri 2028 - Minnesota 2029 - Iowa St 2030 - Minnesota (Missouri was originally scheduled for 2025, but that was rescheduled for the cancelled game with K State from last year. I didn’t see that they cancelled that game and I can’t find it, so I assume it is in 2027. Someone can correct me if i am wrong.)

Vaccine Mandate logic: You are as safe or safer if you got your jab 6 months ago than if you got tested 2 days ago, even though there is a chance that you currently have COVID. Fun fact....you can still have Covid and pass it to others even if you have been vaccinated. Which is why vaccine mandates don't do anything to stop the spread of the virus. Only to make YOUR symptoms less severe. Why is this so hard for people to understand?

How many times has this issue been posted on this thread? Does the staff not know that this is a problem? Do the coaches not tell the Alerus Center staff that this affects their offense? The Alerus Center higher ups need to consult with other stadiums to see what they do in their in game production so they do and take some tips. Heck, there is a college 70 miles down the road who does a pretty darn good job with game day atmosphere. Really not that hard. Don't even need to meet with anyone at the Fargodome. Just go to a game and see for yourself. When the Bison are on offense, its like church in there. When they are on defense it's a rock concert!!! Do better Alerus. Help our team. don't hurt it.

They raised a conference championship banner at the Ralph on Saturday. No reason they can't have a 3 minute ceremony to raise a banner on the Alerus as well.

Saw a car roll right through the middle of all the tailgaters to get to their spot at 12:30. There were people everywhere. He ended up driving over my buddys custom made fighting Hawks bean bag toss boards. No reason any car should be allowed to pull into their tailgate spot less than 2 hours before gametime (probably more). Not only does it irritate fans, but it is potentially dangerous with all the fans walking around. Alerus needs A LOT of updating when it comes to gameday planning, but this is one that really needs to be changes ASAP. They have a time when the tailgate lot opens, but there should be a time when it closes as well. Pretty simple.

2021 Game Day - NDSU vs UND at Alerus Center
Siouxperfan7 replied to BarnWinterSportsEngelstad's topic in Football
Can someone answer me why Isiah Smith only had two touches? He had a 19 yard run and 9 yard run. I mean it wasn't like he got the ball twice for negative 3 yards!! -
2021 Game Day - NDSU vs UND at Alerus Center

In a close game against a good team, it can often come down to a couple plays. In our case, it was 3 plays. The two fourth down plays we didn’t convert and the pick. Unfortunate none of those plays went our way. That being said, even after all those plays, we still had a chance to force them to punt and get the ball back and go kick a game winning FG. Those plays will stick out, but they overshadow how good this team played in Saturday. Especially defensively. -

We were undefeated in the spring with the black. Seems like the right time for the business suits!!
-
Well, last spring we were all saying that this team had a chance...in Fargo!! obviously that didn't happen. The bison will be 2 score favorites. The pressure was definitely on this team last spring as many were predicting them to win. this year, they are predicted to lose. So play with nothing to lose.

This was a good memory!! Will be great to see Mooney inducted into the UND HOF on Saturday!!

The Bison haven’t won in Grand Forks since 1997. They have only won twice in Grand Forks in the last 28 years!!

I think we can all agree that the endzone catwalk seating is popular. The Alerus Center is capitalizing off of that and selling them as premium seats. If you typically stand on the catwalk and are disappointed that you can stand their anymore, by the seats in the catwalk or upgrade to better seats if your current seats aren't good enough. A business capitalizing on demand to make more money? Why the surprise? Welcome to America. It's the way things work.

Weah being out definitely affected those fumbles in the red zone. On every one of those, the preferred call would have been handing it to Weah. And he hangs on the the ball well. If Otis plays, we win 59-0….at least.

This game was a blowout. Not by score maybe, but we dominated in every aspect of the game……EXCEPT turnovers. We don’t turn it over , the score is well into the 50’s. They haven’t completed a 3rd down and I think they have fine 3 and out every time we turned it over. Need better ball security obviously. But we still dominated everywhere else.
-
Should be 28-0 now. Can’t turn the ball over in the red zone.

Last week Alabama played Mercer, Georgia played UAB, Oklahoma played Western Carolina, and Clemson played SC State. Combined score of the ranked teams over inferior opponents was 229 - 24. Welcome to nonconference scheduled for college football. Sure you will have some non conference games against ranked opponents. But most of the time its cupcakes. Games like these should always be scheduled. Not only is it pretty much a guaranteed win against an FCS school (whick matters come playoff selection time) but it gives coaches a chance to rest starters and play 2nd and 3rd string guys. Literally a win win!!

Are there any past or current lawsuits against venues or any places of business where a person is suing because they got Covid? Seems like we would hear about them if there were. If you are worried about Covid, stay home. If you go to a venue with 18,000 people and get Covid, not sure how you can make the venue liable. It all comes down to personal responsibility and know the risks/lack of risks.

Having the vaccine doesn’t prevent you from getting Covid or transmitting it. It lessons the severity of symptoms. So vaccine requirements are unnecessary. Especially if you truly are “following the science”.
