We have the potential for a Jamestown-Mandan qualifier on Saturday, which is an absolute bitch. Same thing happened with Legacy and Mandan the last 2 seasons.

PSP is carrying the entire WDA tournament, but there is a small fee of $35, which covers every game.

Yeah I get it. All of it....but it's still frustrating. Not to nuke the Olympics thread.

It's infuriating that schools like Bemidji, St. Cloud, Duluth, and Mankato have it but not UND. Take a look at some of the other "D1" women's programs and it's even worse. This USA women's team is fun to watch. Onto the gold medal game in dominant fashion.

Pretty dominant season for Fargo N/S Spruins so far this season. With 2 games left they are 19-0-1-0, 110 Goals for and only 15 against. Fischer with 35 and 15 from defense, just an unbelievable player, will be fun to follow her at St. Thomas. North. GF. L/B. CHS. WFU. Davies. Mandan and it looks like either Minot or Willison will round out the field. Besides the 1/8 game, it'll be wide open once again.

Jamestown dumps a point to Hazen by going to OT. Legacy takes the shootout over Mandan by forcing OT with under 2 minutes left in a 1-1 game. Legacy missing their top scorer, Mandan missing their 3rd leading point scorer. WDA is pretty much set except for 7/8 seed: Minot, Legacy, Jamestown, Mandan, CHS, BHS, Dickinson, Bott, Willy, Hazen.

Does this include Englestad money flowing to UND? I fail to see a difference.

I believe Bismarck is limited to 4 sites per organization. I also believe that each site has an annual renewal...sort of like an insurance policy. That's why if you're an organization in a bar, you gotta do your best with your staff and kiss some ass along the way, because if you don't...the hawks are circling every year on that renewal, and if you lose one gaming sight, it is difficult to replace it.

It certainly was an epic fail, a historic one at that. My fan dome is...NCAA tourney or bust, and anything can happen in single elim, we all know that. I can stomach one horses rear end season, but if it rolls into next year, peace out Robert. The way the NCAA is setup now, blue blood programs should be able to recover faster from recruiting losses. Robert failed to do that this year. His job is on the line next year. I've literally watched 2 games of Gopher hockey this year and one of them was in person in Grand Forks. Completely irrelevant to me this season and it sucks.

That's the way it works with charitable gaming, it's not just Fargo. Bismarck is a disaster. If you do not "baby" your charitable gaming account, someone will come in and swoop it up. Youth sports clubs in Bismarck, Minot, Mandan (I'm sure more) have purchased bars for the sole purpose of retaining the gaming accounts. If the rules provide it and Teammakers is experiencing fundraising success doing it, I have no idea why Grand Forks wouldn't try it. It would be a massive money maker and there's nothing immoral about it.

I would be willing to bet any school who did what NDSU did in the 2010s would have a group of morons saying the same. Just my experience with SPORTS SPORTS SPORTS!

I personally don't feel like NDSU will call UND, SDSU, USD...and I also personally don't think they should be expected to pickup that phone call. I could be wrong on both ends, just my idiot opinion.

Well true, but when Schmidt wins one UND won't call it JV like they have been the last 20 years either.

Kinda torn on it. Been a season ticket holder since mid 2000s. In last 4 years ive gone to 1 game and i was at chubs drinking beer by halftime. Driving 200 miles each way…hotel costs…most games being snoozers. I found the TV and then doing something else (hunt etc) easier. I will miss the regional rivalries. IMO thats what makes college sports thrive. on the flip side, im looking forward to going to Vegas for games…better non-conference games (hopefully B1G, B12; PAC efc). I feel like Schmidt is making headways to close the gap so to speak and UND will also flourish with this move. Hopefully NDSU is kicking the door in for the FBS and in a few years UND, SDSU, USD and the Montana are in the same conference.
