  1. Electric crowd. Hopefully the US scores first and blows the roof of that place.
  2. Pretty sure Ole will still be teaching for a few more years.
  3. Couple great pickups for Larson after losing out on Fitzhenry and the minute chance at adding DuPont for this year. Not sure how hard he had to work for Schneider or Willis, but a nice week nonetheless.
  4. Nah. Nobody realistically thought DuPont would be in Dinkytown, or very few at least. Larson revamped the D-Core....although it's not UND, UM or DU...it's a hell of a lot better than last season. His problems appear to be down the middle up front.
  5. Fudge. Wolverines are loaded. Paper loaded, but loaded nonetheless.
  6. Which UND Defenseman will Buffalo pick at 4?
  7. Somehow they "cleared" him from whatever.
  8. Not much better on twitter than Commie clips just shredding this arrogant asshole. The NHL is so bad with recycling coaches.
  9. Getting the Canadians is always going to be a long shot for Dinkytown...let's be honest, it's just not a good fit for most and I'm talking away from the rink. Fitzhenry is a bad recruiting loss for the Gophers, though. What a run for Jackson and the boys.
  10. MN does not toss money around like every assumes. Do they toss money? Yes. But it's not the "B1G BAG" everyone talks about like with McKenna or even the Michigans. There's a pretty good thread about it on GPL breaking down the legalities of it....that sh*t puts me to sleep though, lol.
  11. I don't understand why people don't like them but people bitch about everything these days. That's too much to pay for Brady, but if that's what FLA is willing to give up, then so be it.
  12. Any idea how that affects DuPont to Michigan? Or no affect on his decision?
  13. 7 games with an OT cup clincher is what this one feels like.
  14. Holy smokes....I guess! What a finish.
  15. I like what Larson did to revamp the Defense. I mean it's not UND/DU on the back end but he does have a real nice set of 7 to work with. Talk is we're lacking at C at the top and I can't argue with that. Maybe Larson has one more move this summer up his sleeve as he has plenty of roster room to make a legit move. I think the DuPont think was smoke and most Gopher fans knew it was wishful thinking. UND, Denver, MSU and Michigan appear to be loaded for next year. It should be incredible hockey.
  16. That game was bonkers. Hopefully 6 more just like that.
  17. Larson has plenty of room for DuPont with Begley still rostered and at the moment I don't think Maceo Phillips has removed the M yet. That being said, he's revamped the D core big time since last season and he needs to improve the C position badly. The Tarin Smith connection, the Larson and his old man connection amongst other things (GF as dumb as that sounds we all know that power of the____). The "new" college hockey is bonkers, but stuff like this to follow is actually kind of fun.
  18. It's amazing how dumb intelligent parents can be when it comes to chasing the dream.
  19. And Tarin Smith was his partner before injury. But I still feel like it's a long shot and UM Wolverines grab him.
  20. This article, in particular regarding state funding, was 100% a fishing job. He's a columnist, not a factual reporter. His job is to generate clicks, and in the off-season, he did just that. When it comes to the FBS talk the last decade, every time NDSU won, it was "time to move up" from everyone across the country. That wasn't isolated to NDSU media. If you think the MWC gave a sh*t what Izzo, Kolpack and McFeely have to write about or say I can't help ya.
  21. Frykman graduated from CHS but he's so young he can give Sioux Falls Power a run this year. Legacy is also allegedly losing McKay-Pressley, whom the SRs had to beg to play last season. Bismarck had a pretty good Bantam AA team last year (or maybe the state was down, I don't know) and a few of them are jumping ship before even playing a second of Varsity.
  22. First paragraph: 'Now that the anticipated outrage from the usual suspects using the expected cliches is finished (for now), let’s talk about the North Dakota State football program in the real world." and later: "This idea will go about as far as my 59-year-old right arm can throw a football these days — nowhere.." Literally, reeled you all in. Gotta admit, it was funny thought.
  23. He literally stated in the column that the idea had zero chance, in hell to come to fruition. You missed the part were he was basically baiting UND and SDSU fans, because that's what McFeely does. He hit a bomb with that one, too. I have no idea what people who read his sh*t can't wrap their mind around the fact that everything he writes is strictly just to get a reaction - he's a columnist, not a reporter. That's literally his job. I seriously have no clue why people read his !@#$, it's optional, especially other fan bases. But he gets out of it what he needs too.
  24. Had to pony up or he was a goner. I suspect UND will have to do the same for Schmidt or his tenure won't be long at UND...and generally, that's a good thing.
  25. The first point I'll make about this is the Fargo Forum isn't tied to NDSU. They cover them, yes, they aren't employed by them. The second point I'll make is that was McFeely. Even Bison fans think he's a moron. He 100% wrote that article to generate clicks and it worked for him to a T. He went big fish searching that day and he got his limit with UND and SDSU fans - who'm he even made a jab at in the first paragraph of that article. Nobody is asking for the State's help.
