Has anyone heard a comment from Growzdecky? It seems to me that he would at least wish Robbie well, but he's been mum from what I can find.

As I posted in a different thread, I don't want to play BC. They are one team that I just don't think we have played great against in recent years and their fans go to the games when they are in the east. I really believe that we need to be out of the PWR 8 or 9 spot, even if we drop, because then we are probably not playing B.C. in the regional final. Of course, maybe if BC loses and CC wins, CC would be the overall #1 and we'd be put in their region. I really want to be in Denver's region and go CC!

I like this idea. Unless Robbie shows up for the game the guys' heads may be elsewhere. I'm not expecting a great performance and that just may wreck Parise's hot streak. I like the idea of Brandt in net for a stand on his head performance.

Maybe it wouldn't be so bad taking the forfeit loss. Drop us out of the 8/9 spot in the PWR and having to be in BC's bracket. They are the one team that I never like having to face in the tourney. Especially out east with all their fans. ALMOST worse than Gopher fans.

Great article PCM. That was one of only a few games I got to watch live last year and I can honestly say I didn't get my monies worth. Keep fighting the good fight of free speech PCM. Amazing that neither the Heraldo or USCHO would publish this piece. I guess the WCHA has a little too much power. We wouldn't want to make them mad now would we?

If I was DH I'd walk to the center of the rink and tell the ref we aren't playing due to the officials. Then I'd go home with my "just enough healthy players to actually still field a team heading into the NCAAs" team. But I'm not the coach and I like making the big political stink.

What happened today was a horrible incident, but this thread is to wish Bina well and update his condition. The report from UND's SID at the end of the CC-Gopher game is that Bina's injury is "serious." I'm not trying to fan rumors, but the info I have from sources close to the team is that Bina has broken a bone in his neck and might need surgery. Let's all hope and pray that this is not the case and that he walks out of the hospital and is standing on the bench for warm ups tomorrow.

I should also note that this was on FSNN during the CC game. Info came from the UND SID.

It has me concerned as well. People are talking about what a great effort we put in today and how we hung with the top team in the nation, but the problem is we still lost. I'm not giving up hope by any means. This team will still crush some opposing player's hearts with some wins. I'm more concerned about our draw now. Maybe the whole Bina situation will just fire up the guys that much more. And hopefully some guys are healed by the time we get to the Frozen Four.

Ever since DeMarchi did the same to Palmoscino into the boards I've always been a firm believer that the offender should have to sit out longer than the injured player. Paukovich's season should be over along with Adam's career. I hope Bina is OK.

Paukovich has been suspended by the WCHA for 1 game by the discipline board. EDIT: Adam should join him.

How are the NCAA officials determined?

I don't like this third place game either. It means nothing. It's the third in three days and they have to probably come right back and be ready to play on Thursday.

Sorry guys. My fault. I got home from work and thought the game would be over. It was OT and we lost.

Tried ESPN 2k5 this year (or is it 2k4?). They have a flaw in the dynasty mode. Can't have injuries on or they freeze up. Got that info from tech support. Yeah I called tech support for a video game. I'm ticked. I had spent over 40 hours playing the damn season and it froze at the end. Back to EA for me, but thank you ESPN for dropping the price. On the thread note and this is mainly for PCM: I would love to see the Sioux win the Final Five and I agree with the momemtum statement, but it worries me for heading into the NCAA's. That Thursday game (if we get it) sure could be rough.

I thought you midwestern folk were used to this kind of stuff? BTW, we are supposed to get some bad weather in Cali as well. It might rain. I am not kidding So. Cal. is a natural disaster waiting to happen. Due to 1 inch of rain. This state is so rediculous. I've missed 2 1/2 days of school because of drizzle. But that's a good thing.

Fun to watch that game. Even if it was on tape. Though I'm watching it again right now on FSNNY. What impressed me the most tonight was how the entire team moved toward the net to help Parise. There were many times when UW thought they had a pass or nice rebound and there were four Sioux in their way. The game really slowed through the second and third. Not as much hitting. I'm thinking we started laying back a touch to save ourselves. Plus, UW finally got their I'm-going-to-try-and-wreck-college-hockey-just-like-the-NHL style of play. Yuck. Parise. Wow. The saves he were making were unbelievable. It wasn't luck. He was really seeing the puck. Though I guess UW couldn't seem to lift the puck high enough, but maybe Parise was out of the net far enough and he got the glove up. I still think he gets down a little too early, but worked to his advantage tonight when he had to stick the other leg out. Can't wait for tomorrow!

Saw on USCHO board that CC and DU are chartering a plance together to the Final Five. I'm sure the gusy know each other in a lot of instances, but imagine if they play each other for the championship. Not a fun plane ride for the loser.

And yet again I'm sure it will be BU's color guy doing the commentary and not knowing a thing about anyone outside of Hockey East.
