It should really be by game and an even distribution to each team. Last time Sioux played a regional in Minny, fans couldn't get tickets and yet there might have only been about 1000 people there. All the Minny fans cared about was their own team.

That would be my guess as well. The other good news for us is that BSU is still a TUC. Also, UM-L is playing two very lowly ranked teams, so they'll probably see their RPI drop. Hopefully below us. I think we also need Maine to probably lose both to BC this weekend.

I just spent about a half hour on the phone with DirecTV. I've never had a problem with customer service there before, but the weekend non-English speakers were working. They didn't have an F-ing clue. Somebody on USCHO said it's on in Wisconsin, so it should be on 642. Oh well. Back to these two idiots from Wisco radio. I should take it back. The play-by-play guy isn't the worst I've heard.

Boy are the Wisco announcers really trashing UND. Parise can't handle the puck, they punch, they spear, the refs didn't call a good game. Waaaah.

Now I'm really bummed. UND audio doesn't work. Plus, this game I could have sworn was listed as being on for FSNN-Wisconsin, and now it isn't.

Actually, you can't blame Smaby on that one. Maybe he was the one trying to clear earlier in the shift and screwed up, but when that puck was behind the net it hit Smaby's stick and bouced off just a touch. The Wisco player swiped at it and it went out front. I'm not saying Parise would have made the save anyways, but he tried to swipe at it as it came out front and whiffed. Easy goal at that point.

Sioux get help from Maine again tonight. They beat UM-L 5-3. Plus NU beat BU 2-1 and BC beat UNH 5-2.

While watching the Bowling Green vs. Michigan St. game, they are advertising tickets for the CCHA Super Six. They are also giving you the third day for free. I guess not every league can have the fan support of the WCHA.

Fully agree. You never know how things will turn out until you try.

I don't think Wisco played that well, but their players seemed to be in the right position. Very good at reading us as we were trying to clear the zone. Just seemed to be in every passing lane.

BIG win for the Sioux. 4-2. I gave Parise crap for his first period, but he looked good the rest of the game. You could say UW was shooting into his chest, but I say Parise was in great position and didn't give up rebounds on those shots. Anybody else see that Wisco ran into him twice in that last minute flurry? Now the hard part. Winning tomorrow night.

After 2: Neither offense is doing much. There just doesn't seem to be much room to move. We're playing pretty good right now. We're hitting players and keeping posession in the offensive zone. I don't think I'd say we dominated or took it to Wisconsin that period, but we kept them bottled up and seemed to easily win the TOP. Also, we didn't give up a goal immediately after scoring. I still get nervous every time Wisco takes a long shot. Their forecheck and out subsequent turnovers could be a killer. We have a PP to start off. Let's get another.
