i never said choices would be seemily be obvious i just said some choices are easier when you add everything up and for a guy like quinton hooker i'm sure he see himself being the next damian lillard and i hope he is...i was just pointing out that und was at a disadvantage when compared to the ndac and sdsu...and continued during the transition and finally we are seeing the light at the end of tunnel in bball, vball, baseball, and so forth because we are on "equal footing"....

i think quinton is the future and every other volleyball player that ashley is stealing right from under your feet....

once again i'll bring out the "equal footing" story...take a guy like ben woodside..if und and the ndac were both recruiting him at the time ndac could sell him playing d1 bball and when your a senior you have the chance to play in the big dance and yeah maybe we might even play a team like kansas in the metrodome??? or you could play d2 bball and have fun playing for a short at the d2 national tournament and play emporia state in front of 500 fans in pueblo, co??? easy choice for ben?

i guess people are really reading a lot of meaning into my "equal footing" comment...what i meant was that ndac's transition is a little bit smoother than und's in terms of conference affiliation and no nickname crap hanging over them...now that every sport at und has a solid conference to sell to recruits and no nickname lawsuits hanging around the coaches are on "equal footing" and as the years go on away from the transition und will be winning most recruiting battles with the ndac like we have done for over a 100 years...quinton hooker being the most obvious example of what i meant by "hey quinton you can play in a conference that produced the rookie of the year in nba, get a great education at a world class university, and play in a beautiful basketball facility or you can play in an alphabet league of commuter schools, study either ag sciences or architecture, and play in a dump of a multipurpose facility??? easy choice i guess for quinton

i sat two rows behind bakken at the sdsu game and when und was making their comeback attempt and everyone in our section was banging the metal walls and kicking chairs, he sat there by himself silent as a toad....

pretty simple...more talent on und's team than the ndac's team...advantage und plus the equal footing thing...if und was still looking for a full time conference and had the nickname stuff hanging over us a guy like quinton hooker would be wearing green and piss yellow instead of green and black....

it that make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside thats fine...okay let's live in the here and now fb-ndac mens bball-und womens bball-und volleyball-und soccer-und baseball---seems like a toss up but speaking of even footing...und finally has a home for baseball and in fact a really nice home in the wac and before you starting talking about all the summit league championships in track and golf and cross country...its still the summit league!

i'm saying that it all sports...after we beat the ndac in fb in 2003 with everything else going on at UND (rea), the ndac decided to take their fball and go home...unlike the ndac und had a SECOND d1 program to fund and grow so at the time it wasn't right to go d1 in everything else...with as much money at the rea is making for the entire athletic department and the crumbling of d2 around us we decided it was time to jump up...ndac had a five year head start on us but for most if all sports we have caught and if not passed the ndac like that five year head start they had never even happened....

football 62-45-3 mens bball 159-129 womens bball 40-33 baseball 95-75-1 womens soccer 5-3 anything else?

i hope someone has all this recorded and a little bit of time to log how many times "ndsu" or "und" and/or "ndsu football" or "und hockey" was said on gameday tonite and tomorrow..?

bohl is as good as gone after this year...and maybe muss too....when und and the ndac are equal footing und always wins...the farther we get away from the transition the better....i hope the ndac enjoys this but it isn't going to last...

downtown fargo??? as a siouxfan i like this so its more about the city of fargo instead of the ndac's fb team... this actually made my day...

a really really small thing that stood out after rewatching the game was a tackle that kuksa made on a kickoff late in the game....he was able to get downfield quickly, break away from the guy blocking him, and make a perfect form tackle. and he made it look easy peters and otto need to sit and goard and or labatt or even hickel need to play more....i think it was peters that totally whiffed on the first attempt at zach on the screen play from hell and i don't think zenner was the same after goard introduced himself to zach in the backfield....

exactly!!!! this game was given away needlessly bc certain guys that should be playing from the start aren't....mollberg, edwards, goard, maybe kuska

one position i know better than the other positions and its the qb...i went to one practice this year and i posted that joe was clearly the better qb from what i saw...the only thing i'm upset about from this game is that we would have won this game if joe would have started this game....

i hope coach k has gg, cordero, dom, and dayo fired up and ready to TACKLE and the front three tie up their guys long enough to let these guys do their thing...o-line is gonna do just fine tomorrow und 35 sdsu 24

the audience was huge??? let's get some facts here?? what is your definition of "huge"...if i remember correctly a und fan had to set a ndac fan straight about tv coverage last year when the FACTS were that tv rating for the worst bowl game was significantly higher than the the fcs championship game iirc yet according to all ndac fans the tv ratings were "HUGE"

yeah all those great fbs wins over the last few years has really improved ndac's national prestige.....coming up on fox sports 1 "kansas state versus NORTH DAKOTA"...and ndac's championship banner being mailed to grand forks???

could the reason be that these jerseys are ugly is because the hockey equipment manager designed it in his spare time using a jersey creator program???

if edwards was almost "unblockable" last year in camp what has changed now that his redshirt year is over to keep him from starting? i've never seen someone describe henson or stanchick as "unblockable" ever? i'm not too worried about the offensive line and if the correct d-line guys play i'm not too worried about them either...

the te position at und for the past few years has been nonexistent... seth nichols the last couple of years was 6'5 with nice hands and decent feet and he maybe caught ten passes in two years?
