I thought he sounded fine but then, this was only my second time seeing them in concert so I can’t really judge. They played the Grudge too with the infamous 25 second scream. Previous was 2001 at Red Rocks. Here’s the set list. I don’t miss the big ice at World Arena. It once played to CC’s advantage in regular season home games during the years under Owens when they were good but it still didn’t lead to NCAA tournament success overall with the exception of the 2005 frozen four season. I think overall, CC ran into trouble in the post season when playing on the smaller sheet against opponents who really tightened up defensively in that one-and-done format. This isn’t a hard and fast rule but it seems very similar to some of SCSU’s struggles in the post season.

I went to the Tool concert last night so I missed the game and wouldn’t you know, UND hands SCSU a big loss. I guess I should try to find another concert to go to tonight for good luck. Glad everyone here got to see the good guys in green win!

Outside of UND, I’m rooting for Western to go far in the tournament. I really like how that team is built. Big, heavy and skilled.

I thought I was depressed after UND’s loss and inability to put more than 1 goal in the back of the net…until I just watched CBS Sports’ intermission segment on DU’s recruiting philosophy and strategy.

I’m so pissed off right now. We shoot ourselves in the foot and create much of our own misery and I wish once Berry would publicly show some fire in his media interviews but I guess that’s not his style.

Agreed 100%. And I was being facetious when I said we lost because of a hot goaltender. That was what Hennessy and Berry seemed to infer in the post game interview. Bussi did play well but to your point, we lack finishers. All Swede, no Finnish?

Cornell playing typical Cornell hockey…simple, disciplined hockey. Definitely taking advantage of the opportunities given to them. I followed Cornell closely all those years in the early and mid 2000’s when they’d make the national tournament. Stout defensively, good goaltending, and big heavy forwards.

Prior to that last penalty, it looked like we had difficulty getting the puck past the red line and generating much offensively.

I must’ve missed it. I heard the post game on tv but didn’t catch it on the radio broadcast.

So what’s the message to the fans when Berry doesn’t do the post game interview? I would love to hear his response to what happened tonight.

And at this point the 4 against Omaha and 2 against CC are no gimmies either given how we’re playing.

Seeing us lose to Cornell makes me awfully scared of when we have to play Western 4 times, St. Cloud twice and two on the road at Duluth.

So no post game interview with Bubs and Hennessy???
