Can someone tell me what the UND guy just said about Jordan Kawaguchi reopening his NCAA eligibility? Did he originally commit to another school before committing to UND?

JBD is having a really strong gold medal game and tournament.

David Carle was livid with that embellishment call on DU. It clearly was a trip by UMass and the DU player definitely did not embellish. That said, this is a very chippy game both ways. Lots of extracurriculars after almost every whistle.

Lots of great memories listening to Doug and Frank Mazzocco covering Gopher games on the old Midwest Sports Channel. I loved hearing Doug complain about how hard it was reading the names and numbers on the backs of the old CC jerseys Stories like that and many others, you were always entertained listening to a Gopher hockey broadcast with Woog. Nice guy too, met him only one time at Whitey’s but also got to hear him speak at Sioux boosters his last year coaching the Gophers and he was such a great sport, taking the ribbing that he got from old Marvin who told lots of jokes at Doug’s expense.

Agreed. About midway through the third it was 4 on 4 and Wilkie enters the DU zone and gets the puck stripped from his stick. He just stops dead in his tracks and stands there and pouts for having the puck stolen. Meanwhile DU goes the other direction with numbers and Wilkie is nowhere to be found back checking. He needs to learn that it’s a two-way game.
