Anyone know the status of the injured players? Can we expect to them back this weekend?

If any of you are in the crowd booing the new nickname, stop it. I dislike it as much as anyone, but booing your own team (which is essentially what you are doing) only drags out the whole fiasco. If you don't want to use it, fine. Just don't boo it.

We need to improve on faceoffs - Schmaltz and Simonson are under 500, and LJ is at .536. No one is lighting it up. PP is another area that needs work - 18% is a little low. Maybe St. Clair can help.

But, the goofs have won more games than any other program in the last 4 years.

LJ can't seem to avoid dumb penalties, and hasn't been productive either. At this point he is a liability and needs to sit. Give someone else a chance.

Who was it that did that? That just about cost them the game. It shows how good the CBS line is, and how screwed we are if one of them gets hurt.

I really thought at the time that Bjorkman destroyed the program, and that it would never be the same. Gino was exactly what the program needed.

Much as I would love to see Boeser and Schmaltz stick around for another year, I don't see it happening. Boeser is too good at putting the puck in the net and Schmaltz is too good a playmaker, and it didn't hurt that he got bigger than he was last year. Just speculation - I see them both in the NHL next year.

As good as they have been, CBS will need to pick it up to get close to the Line of Fire. I can see them doing it.
