What is the academic program that the WHL offers? I realize they offer money for education but what is offered while a kid is playing? To say that education is so important and then go the MJ route doesn't make sense.

Any chance Eids starts on Friday? I didn't watch Saturday's game at Duluth but it didn't sound like Dell played very well, and Eids played pretty good when he got in.

It is no longer possible to keep the nickname - sanctions, teams refusing to schedule us, Big Sky issues, etc. It is very sad - the PC ****s have won the war.

The internet option sure is a lot better than no option at all, but it won't be as convenient as sitting down and turning on the TV. It also means upgrading my internet connection, which I should probably do anyway. I agree we don't have all the details yet. Hopefully something like the contract with FCS can be worked out.

I can't see how this plays out other than horrible for Sioux fans, especially us that are out of the region. It has been great watching all the home games and some road games and now I might get to see 5 games??? Watching on the internet is a giant step backward.

Did anyone watch the game? I'm curious about the Thorson injury. Hennesey made it sound like he wasn't touched on the play yet one of the SCSU posters said it was a slash. Supposedly he has a separated shoulder.

I would expect another 30+ minute game for Blood and Gleason playing more at forward than defense.

Where do these 700 wins come from? The UM website shows 1627 wins all time; the UND website shows 1297 wins. UM has about 25 years more history.

If you are happy to see injuries to an opposing team you are not a fan.
