  1. Agree - nice to see the boys get a win without Zane's "A" game but I think they will need him to play better to win tonite.
  2. Friday - Mark Mac Saturday - Parks
  3. I am going with a buddy that is a UND grad and lives in Seattle. We are only going to the Sioux games so we won't see Princeton play. The rink looks pretty small - capacity about 2,000. I hope they play better than the last time I saw them play in person - the St. Lawrence series!
  4. Friday - Luke Saturday - Drake
  5. I live closer to Everett so I go to an occasional Silvertips game. Pattyn plays a lot like Mario - plays hard but not so smart.
  6. Somebody needs to take Pattyn and explain that he dosn't need to be stupid every game. One of those penalties will cost us the game.
  7. No new game for this weekend?
  8. Why not get the webcasts? I got very spoiled by being able to watch all the home games on FCS, but I can't anymore so the webcasts are a viable alternative. Quality is excellent. I think you are a fair weather fan. I find it just as easy to watch as turning on the TV.
  9. Johnson played well except for a stupid penalty. Schmaltz had a good game - nice goal.
  10. Thoughts.....does a Sioux goalie need to give up a soft goal every game? I don't think so. Is there a player named Rocco that plays for the team in green? How about Parks? Can they win a game without showing up for a period or more? NO! It's going to be a long season.
  11. Friday - Rocco Saturday - Mark Mac
  12. So I decided to try to watch the replay of the Manitoba game on my laptop - and it worked perfectly! I was surprised given the comments advising to not try to watch over a wireless connection - and I used IE, not Chrome. My PC is getting old and tired so it looks like that may be the problem. Next step - new PC.
  13. I just tried Chrome. It seemed to work better than IE but still lots of the same problems. I was able to get more real-time action but too much slow motion and skipping 2 or 3 seconds. Still unwatchable.
  14. I wasn't able to watch live so I just finished watching a replay. It was pretty much unwatchable. Only about 10% was in real time - the rest was slow motion and lots of 2 or 3 second skips in the action. I noticed that someone said don't use IE so I will try with Chrome and see if that helps. The only bright spot was the picture was great - very clear and crisp and great color. I am hoping to hook up my PC to my TV to watch future games but there is no point in doing that unless I can get a much better feed.
  15. Same problems. I hope they fix the issues before October 6.
  16. Go to the Campus Lounge. Its a real dive but great hockey bar. The owner (Jim Wiste) played at DU and in the NHL for a few years. Its about 2 miles north of the DU campus.
  17. Here's a little recent history of trying to get a new arena in Seattle. There is a Seattle native that is very rich and loves NBA basketball (Chris Hansen). He deci.ded that its time for Seattle to have an NBA team again, and is willing to put up $400M if the city will chip in $200M for a new arena. And by the way, it would work well for an NHL team too. So he tried to get the Sacremento Kings to bail out and come to Seattle. That didn't happen. So the proposed new arena is in limbo, Hansen may be stuck with $100M in non-refundable NBA fees and other stuff. The NHL is pretty much an afterthought, so it seems to be on the way-back burner. I don't think that there is any question that Seattle can support an NHL team but there is no one that has the passion that has come forward to make it happen
