My main concern coming into this game is Eli Gillman (should be at UND). 15 for 198 and 3 TDs last weekend. Guys a beast. We managed to mostly hold him in check last year besides a 63 yard TD run. I guess on top of Gillman I would say the environment scares me a bit too. I know they played at KState already so they have the exposure but I think this could be just as tough of a place to play, if not more. Really wish I could have made the trip but I can’t wait to watch.

Would definitely expect to see Chuck but not sure if the Montana game is the right place for that. Unless they truly have been waiting to “unleash” him. I am hoping to continue to see more and more of Brunell though. Was super jacked about him when we landed him.

I know someone mentioned that Ziebarth is living off the NDSU game from 2 years ago. I don’t buy that. Fruechte really seems to like to balance the opportunities each RB gets. While I don’t hate that, I just think Ziebarth is one of those that is going to grind down a defense and then break it. He’s almost always going to get positive yards. I would have him and Seidl be our 1-2 punch and then X can be the pass catching back.

My big thing is nailing the hype video. I know last year there was one video they showed with like 5 mins before the game and that one was very good but the actual one they showed right before the team ran out stunk.

Good move. Black jerseys ran their course, imo. Break them out once a year maybe but we treated them like our primaries for many years.

Maybe the Tav will have more than 2 people working. Place is awful for service. I like Playmakers but not much better in the aspect.

My biggest gripe with Fruechte is the lack of Ziebarth touches. I understand he fumbled the ball but he’s our best hard nosed runner. 4th quarter trying to ice the clock and we run Leigh up the middle twice? That’s not his role. 9 carries for -1 yard….. Got frustrated with the lack of Ziebarth touches last year too. He needs touches to wear the defense down. Now I don’t want to take away from Seidl either though because that kids special.

You know you had me until you said Nebraska lol. I know you said pipe dream but until then it was a possibility.

Bums me out. Lot of names that I think/want to be good. Deng, Fleming, Hoskins, Tai, Behymer. I suppose most of those are unknowns or have some many flashes but no consistency and that’s why I’m hopeful.
