I will be there! But yeah that was a good opportunity to encourage more to come to games. Doesn’t help tonight is on a Wednesday night either.

Well after an ugly start to conference play, UND (KP 287) and the Summit take on the Big Sky with Northern Colorado (KP 238) up first. Looks like UNC is led by #0 6’7” forward Saint Thomas (oh great….) who’s averaging 17.4ppg and 9.4rpg. After that, #2 Dejour Davis is averaging 14.9ppg and #14 Brock Wisne adds 11.5. UNC is not a bad team but this feels like a game we should win if we are where we want to be as a team, which the last two games suggest are aren’t. KenPom has UNC taking this one 76-75 and Bart Torvik agrees but Vegas has UND -1.5.

I’m going to guess ever again in a UND jersey.

Eli King has been a bright spot

I’ve been criticizing. I want Sather to succeed so bad but it’s starting to become apparent that’s not going to happen or at least not where I want the program to be. I do wonder the buyout language of his extension.

I waste too much time and energy with this team and university….. and I know I won’t stop.

This was so easy to see coming.

Amar has handled him fairly well but hasn’t been in the entire time Kyle has.

Sometimes I wonder if Sather comes in with a script for subbing and doesn’t adjust. Idk doesn’t make sense many times.

Play Deng more today please. Give it a shot at least. He’s got the length and athleticism. Can’t really shoot but who can? If something doesn’t change, would imagine he hits the portal the day the season ends.

There’s an ugly trend happening across campus right now….. wasn’t too long ago that I was delusional enough to think the university could see a similar year of success as that 2016-17 year….

We are on to South Dakota State. Friday sucked and UND needs to learn from it but they can’t sulk about it as we head to Frost Arena to play the preseason favorite and a team we have lost 15(!) straight to. They are led by Zeke Mayo (#2) averaging 17 ppg, 6.2 rbg and 3.2 apg. Charlie Easley (#30) is the 2nd leading scorer averaging 11.8 and is typically a pest on defense. William Kyle (#42) is a player I’ve been super impressed with since last year. Not many big men with that athleticism in the conference. Also, look for Matt Mims to return. He’s very important for them. KenPom has UND (279) losing this one 78-68 while BartTorvik has us losing 78-66. Idk what to think anymore. Would expect a better performance than Friday but would be pretty surprised if we leave with a victory.

Idk if there’s ever been a game that has me more discouraged than that. We will be a middle of the pack Summit team I still believe but that’s not what I want to strive for. The energy, the culture, that’s what I want…… and I’m not sure that’s going to happen under Sather. Still wish we would have been able to swing it with Ben McCollum, but clearly we don’t invest enough into basketball.

Watch us go out and beat SDSU on Sunday and provide renewed hope….

That was the worst game I’ve ever attended. Left at the 12 min timeout. Don’t think I’ve ever done that. 0 compete, pathetic. How do you not put in Mayar or Mara or someone to see if they can provide a spark? Idk the game was over right away but still.

Noticed the EWU has very similar jerseys to UND. The pants look the same just different color way obviously. I think adding a black outline to the numbers and fonts would do wonders for our jerseys. Also, add the name too. Too much space on the back, in my opinion.
