    Was it Mike Edwards?

    2016 Season

For what its worth, Kenny would have graduated last year, had he not transferred. Also, could you remind me, who was big snacks? I've heard that tossed around on here, but can't remember who that was in reference too. I watched a lot of football back in college, then didn't watch for a few years. Got back into it a little more 3 years ago, and am addicted again.
  3. Agree with everyone on the Roku app. Worked awesome this past weekend. I bought the Roku 2 and have it hardwired into my modem, so I'm not running off of wifi. Stream was flawless. Now, if only the Big Sky could move to something like this, or when/if UND moves to MVFC then we can see football and some basketball on the WatchESPN app. I've watched some Bison games with my in-laws through the Roku as well, and the stream has been flawless there as well. Pretty awesome for $60

Wonder if dre Randolph or jake Grier will see the field. love seeing the depth growing on this team.

    2016 Season

Want to know what really catches my eye? All three of those kids will be back next season! Wow!
  6. Its actually kind of funny how many times they run on 3rd and long and get about 15. They did it a few times against N Colorado and again a few times against N Arizona.
  7. I would have never guessed Wanzek would have had as much of an impact as he has this year. Kid has a bright future.
  8. It wasn't directed at you man, relax It was more of an exaggerated general joke, about several things that we have hear over the year..... Satirical humor. Satire is a technique employed by writers to expose and criticize foolishness and corruption of an individual or a society by using humor, irony, exaggeration or ridicule. It intends to improve humanity by criticizing its follies and foibles. ... Kind of goes along the same lines as the "quality losses" jokes that have been on this forum since last year.
  9. Does anyone know when he, or us, would find out about a potential medical RS?
  10. Haha, I though about starting something similar. Could this be a wildcard week. Any team goes. Honestly, even the UND roster could have some really good look a likes.
  11. You should be careful before you get banned from the internet. UND is lucky they didn't play MT or EWU this year. UND had a soft soft soft schedule, and does not deserve to be ranked, nor in the playoff talk, nor in college football at all. UND only beat Cal Poly because Joe Protheroe did not play. And we play in the Big Fluffy so in reality our 9-0 conference record would equate to about 0-9 in the MVFC. Did I cover everything?
  12. Maybe, and frankly I would like to see them in the playoffs regardless. Not saying we would win, but even if we lose, it shows you about where you are on the talent scale. Playing a rival and a 5 time national champ with a chance to knock them off; Who wouldn't want that. If UND does go to Fargo, I already have my ticket lined up. Would definitely be fun.
  13. Just read through this and there was almost more UND talk than NDSU. What's with McFeely crushing on UND? Not complaining, its fun to see UND get some attention overall in the region. Not the overall view of Bison fans, but there are a few on there who said they don't want to play us. I was actually kind of surprised by it all, but thats what makes football fun. Would love to play NDSU in the playoffs. I think that would be a great game and a fun matchup.

    2016 Season

Yeah, I'm not sure how that would work. Its still a post season event, and as BSC is part of the NCAA, I don't know if it is impacted or not.
  15. I posted the below question under SFI's recap of the game. Anyone here care to give their thoughts? Question on the freshman OL that dressed. What was the mentality in choosing those specific players? I believe there were others who were more highly touted coming in, and are supposed to be better players, but was the thought, we don’t want to burn redshirts on the better players, so lets just get some capable bodies in there?

Any OL geniuses on hear that can analyze Bryce Blair's play thus far? The way I see it, these are extremely valuable reps that could pay off in 2 or 3 years as he becomes a veteran on the line. How is his technique, because his size is very underwhelming at this point. This kid needs to take advantage of that meal plan and start putting back some cheeseburgers, haha. Seriously though, hope he can pack on some muscle, because if he is getting good reps as a young guy, hopefully he can add the size to go with it.

Not just for football. Volleyball as well. Huge for them to be able to host.

    2016 Season

That would be huge! Just realized Mercer was a Jr. and we'll get him for another year. I thought he was a senior for some reason. So that is fantastic too, especially with some of this chemistry that seems to be developing. I was a little underwhelmed early in the season, which was probably wrong, as he was new and needed to adjust. Having Clive and Demun back could be huge for this team though. Wanzek and Toivenen will continue improving. And Stanley is certainly solid. All of a sudden our WR core looks pretty darn good, and can hopefully open up some room to run. We'll have a tougher schedule next season, but also an even better team to compete with. Bubba has definitely done this the right way.
  19. Agreed, UND will continue to improve, but will never have the attendance that SU has, no more than we will ever have the attendance that the Griz have. Just need to focus on continuing to improve attendance and game day experiences within the AL, and not focus too much on keeping up with NDSU in that way. If we could get 11-12k in there consistently, and even a few more for Big games, I'd be thrilled. Not sure what the limits are with standing room, but if it ever came down to it, I would think they could add some sort of risers in the catwalk to create additional standing room. Again, this doesn't turn around overnight. We've made huge strides this year. Undefeated in conference and winning the big sky will certainly make some noise, and should increase season ticket ownership next fall. Making some noise in the playoffs would be the next step. Assuming we pick up a seed, we should avoid the Thanksgiving holiday. Unfortunately, some fans will be out of town for the UND/BC game, but we should still be able to put together a nice showing in a playoff game.

    2016 Season

Would be great. Unfortunately, when I hear Clive's name, I keep seeing him try to stand up and his leg bend where it shouldn't. Gruesome injury.
  21. absolutely! I knew I was forgetting someone. Stanley has stepped up nicely this season.
  22. I'll admit that there was a point on Saturday where I had lost hope. I figured the game was over, and even with a playoff spot in our future, what were our chances with our team playing like that, and Keaton struggling and being so beat up. Wow, what a game! Even though I figured it was over, I found myself trying to map it out, as though if we hurried up and got 1 TD, there was still time to try to get a few more to tie it up. Seemed pretty far fetched. Studrud is tougher than nails. Very impressed with that kid and his determination to not only stay in the game, but also make an impact and make the difference with his arm. Mercer picked the right time to step up and create some chemistry with Keaton. This could be HUGE going into the playoffs. Big teams make big plays, and none were bigger than the Deion Harris pick 6. Almost exactly like the one he had against USD, and you could see it coming from a mile away. As soon as the QB looked that way, Harris stopped back pedaling and moved up to jump the route. The interception factor has been absolutely unreal, and so much fun to watch this year. Credit to the player, and credit to Stepps. He has done a tremendous job. I'm a little wary about having such a long break now, going into the playoffs; but the truth is, there probably isn't another team that needs it more. These guys need to heal up. And I'll trust the coaches to keep the kids prepared so they don't get too rusty. It will be really nice if we can go into our game at the AL with a healthy QB and a healthy O-line. Get Taj back on the field and so on. Holidays are coming up, but these kids need to stay focused, and stay out of trouble. Can't wait, and so excited for what is left for this team.
  23. Totally agree with this. Granted you have to play the best at some point, but I agree, the matchup against NDSU is much better for us than EWU. Not a slam on NDSU obviously, just has more to do with style of play.
  24. Espn list attendance at 9049. is that right? if so, it's pretty disappointing . should have hit 10 for this game.
