    2018 Season

Jeez Cloyd is up like 23 lbs (267). Monster size, hopefully some monster results this year!

    2018 Season

I just saw Jenkins weight too. Wow! Hope he has the speed and technique to go with that weight gain.

    2018 Season

Since Teeder thinks he is too good for Training Camp this year (JK Teeder), I hope UNDFootball360 and Tom Miller are ready to write, because I am getting pretty anxious for some football material, and definitely need some solid reading to get me through the next few weeks until the first game. Can't wait!

    2018 Season

10+ interceptions, 5+ TDs, Top 5 Draft Pick reasonable?

    2018 Season

Agreed, every year, I'm interested to see who has packed on the pounds, and every year I am left searching for reliable numbers.
  6. Thats a pretty open ended question. He is still on the roster on the website, so was something rumored, or what?
  7. Good to know, I was hoping for a few other targets at RB
  8. Think we have any shot at that Evan hull from Maple Grove? Kid is getting a lot of interest. Between him and that Zander kid, you’d be pretty set. Throw Otis in that mix too.

    I love the JoeProe jokes!

    2018 Season

I would expect a significant change in that number. As the article stated, the team was decimated by injuries. That was particularly true on defense. LB core was depleted. Deion Harris was out all year. Cole Reyes was injured a ton. and that is only to name a few. If they stay health the defense should keep them in games, but Rudy needs to find a way to utilize the talent in ways that he has not shown. Get Oliveira and Santiago on the field. Line Santiago at WR at times. IF you use a reverse ... maybe try your speed guys. Can't stress this enough, but TIGHT ENDS!!!!! The whole picture cannot be blamed on Rudy, BUT he is the most pivotal piece of the puzzle in terms of improving his role, given the pieces that he has to work with; and they have recruited plenty of talented tools over the past few years.
  11. Has there been any word or rumors on non-conference schedule. I remember reading something about a summit WAC Challenge, but do we know of any specific non conference games?

    2018 Season

Coaches and Player should be watching and rewatching the Bison was in over SHSU from the playoffs last season. Blueprint on how to take it to that team.
  13. Can we get that on campus football stadium yet?
  14. Makes sense, I'll take your word for it. I'll be interested to see where Jeremy Jenkins is at when the new weights come out. Kid was already big and with a year in the program; well, we will see.
  15. In theory, I agree. But like I said, I would have hope Blair would be between 290-300 by now too.
  16. Maybe its just me, but OL that are on the lighter side always make me nervous. Maybe this is just because we have been waiting for guys like Bryce Blair to beef up over the past few season. Skill seems to be there, but needs to be up to size. I'll be interested to see how fast Donny Ventrelli can pack on the pounds as well.
  17. Recruit MN? Preposterous! I mean Crandall and Hooker were ok I guess. But MN, seriously? (Please note the sarcasm)

    2018 Season

I understand your skepticism, I just think it needs some perspective at times. I don't think anyone can be too low, or too high on this team right now. There are some exciting pieces coming into the mix, but those pieces are still unproven and have yet to yield effective results. Exciting but Unproven -Cam Mckinney -Nate Ketteringham -Brock Boltman -Mikey Griebel -CJ Siegel -Mike Bruner - Noah Larson UND was decimated with injuries, last season, worse than any team I have every seen. Might be an excuse (as Bubba should have built better depth by now), but it is also a fact and can't be overlooked as a huge impact to the team's performance (especially defensively). I'm all for "Next Man Up" but eventually your run out of guys; and with our depth last year, you can run out fast. I think the coaches have made a few moves to improve the depth this season, and it is hard to see the team getting as banged up as last season; that would be tough to do (knock on wood) Then there is Rudolph. The most questionable piece to this puzzle. I would be interested to know why Bubba brought him back; what is his reasoning? They are buds? He is a competent OC? They have discussed how they will make changes and adjustments this season (should have been a discussion 2 years ago)? The only thing that will convince me that Rudy staying is a good idea, is to see a completely different approach when they open the season, and see them stick with a new approach as the season progresses. If Rudy fails, then so does Bubba; that is the position he has put himself in. 2018 is truly a year of unknowns. Will this team return to 2016 form and make the playoffs? Will they flounder like last season (unacceptable)? Will they end somewhere in between (still unacceptable)? Only time will tell, but I'm definitely excited to see football return, and watch the potential of some of these guys.
  19. Jacob Holmen, I remember him recovering a muffed punt one time. i believe we did just get a long snapper in the 18 class. Ross Hinders who had a PWO offee with the Gophers.
  20. Another DE, or are you referring to Beach? Who announced earlier on twitter.
  21. Looks like Cochran will be announcing his commitment at 5pm. I wouldn't be surprised to see him head to Cornell with the 3.9 GPA. Ivy league education would be pretty tempting, but I would be happy to see us land the kid.
  22. I'm just going to throw this out there, but I am hoping Pluto TV is poised for a breakout season. The quality can't get too much worse than last year. Can't wait for ESPN3 in 2020.

    2018 Season

Dude! You gotta get a majority vote if you're gonna take vacation at the start of camp! Jk, I guess we'll just have to rely on Miller's reports then. Enjoy your trip.

    2018 Season

When does camp actually start? Are those with injuries on track to start? Will Teeder be giving his usual reports? I know its early July, and I hate to wish away the great weather, but man am I ready for some football. Last season was so disheartening, but there will be a lot of pieces in place this year, that were not there last year. So many back from injury, as well as some nice additions and R.Freshman. Maybe some true Freshman that can compete as well (still bummed about Slater, and missing on Okpoko). Biggest question mark will have to be who steps up at QB. I'm on the Ketteringham bandwagon at this point. There were some nice reports on him last fall running the scout team, and I think one that said he looked the part last summer. If he can develop some chemistry with the receivers, it could open up a whole new dimension to this offense (So long as it is utilized, ahem Rudy!) Can wait to beat MVSU!
  25. I probably expect more out of the sophomore class this year than the junior class. Seems like quite a bit of potential there that is ready to take the next step.
