Jal is freakishly athletic. Moody is going to be a ton of fun to watch. Cortez started hot, which we have seen before. He seems so streaky. One game he lights it up, another game you wonder if he his playing; but I look for him to has a good season. Should be a fun team to watch, and I hope they can keep up with their schedule, because this seems like one of the better non-conference schedules we have had. Obviously we'll see some tough teams in the summit with the south dakota teams as well. Plenty of guys looked solid last night, though it was against a D3 school. Nice to see several guys hit the deep ball. purely talent wise, I can't help but wonder what Geno could have added to this squad, and how that may have affected the dynamic of the team. Maybe they will play a better team game without him, and I know there was plenty of animosity on this sight against Geno over the last 6-8 months, but I liked watching the kid. My guess was that his frustration with the team was no different than many of the fans frustration that we hear about on this site after a bad loss. Kid just wanted to win, and had an opportunity to do it at a big time program. Regardless, he would have been quite a talent as a senior. Should be a fun year, and hopefully we can surprise some people.

Senden is going to be the man. What a surprise. Can’t wait to see what he turns in to over the next few years.

He is a nice guy, and he loves UND. That’s could be so many people. I like Bubba, but he has not done his job. Over the past two years he has had numerous opportunities to make changes as OV and ST Coordinator. He did not. This coaches have directly cost us games and one could argue, playoffs. Bubba made bad decisions. When you don’t do your job, you’re going to be at risk of losing it, and nice or not I don’t see Chaves being too please with this.

Bubba has already had too many chances to make changes. If anyone goes down he has to go down with them. Bubba has no business leading this team anymore.

I’ve said it since the end of last season, it is too late to get rid of just the OC or just kostich. Bubba made his decision to stick with them, and he needs to go with them. Hope Chaves has more guts than Bubba. I want an entire new staff coming in. Keep Freund .... maybe Schmidt, but jeez some changes need to happen.

I get injuries, but between bad kicks, not goin for it on 4th and a half yard, blocked punt for a TD, throwing deep balls when up by ten ... so many errors by this team but more by this staff.

I will take just about any kicker from our D2 days over this. We had some great ones then, why can’t we get one now?

Seriously are the coaches going to recruit another kicker for next season. The Leach experiment is toast.
