OK.....last post on this.... All I'm saying is that when they played each other then, the schedule and making the playoffs and hosting D2 games then was as difficult as it is now in FCS. It's all relative. ndsu is scared to lose a game that hurts their playoff chances and home field chances. That's why they won't schedule UND. Oh yeah I forgot, and finances......and marketing strategy.....

As Sioux83 stated already, this is straight talking points from the ndsu athletic department, which is adjacent to the chicken coop and 4-H exhibits on campus. This Kolpack propaganda started during the transition, and has only gotten worse over the last 5 years. He is totally in the bag for ndsu and completely unreliable for objective opinion on anything. Worthless. He is using his profession and once reliable newspaper outlet as his own personal soundboard for ndsu cheerleading. As long as GT is still there, an excuse to not schedule us will always be there. When he leaves, we can start with the game again.

We know for sure that Hendrickson was #3 on the depth chart prior to Bradley's departure and going into fall camp. Wayne Nelson confirmed it as well. What we didn't know was that Hendrickson would have passed up Bradley on the depth chart eventually this year anyways. I'm ecstatic that we have 2......and I feel confident in saying this right now......great QB's.

So ndsu is paying Prairie View A&M 200k to play in Fargo huh? There goes the final EXCUSE out the window for not playing UND. Hard to make a lot of money for a home game when you pay 200k in guarantee money. I can't help but laugh at those chuckleheads.

Marcus has done great. He's missed some wide-open WRs in both games, especially last week. Those are throws Braden Hanson makes. When Braden Hanson is 100%, he is our #1 QB.

This should be used as a HUGE recruiting tool, and I'm sure it already is......it better be. Would you rather bus to Iowa, South Dakota, Illinois, and probably fly to Indiana, Missouri etc?.... OR... Fly everywhere out west and see the countryside and warm weather in California, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Idaho, Arizona and Montana? Honest question, Mr. High School Football Recruit...

IMO Hanson is no question the better overall QB. That's why he won the starting job and Marcus would have been 3rd string if Bradley hadn't left before camp. There are reasons for that. Marcus has played very well.....above and beyond what I thought he was capable of and I am both happy and proud of him. Kid has been very resilient through his college career. Marcus also brings the athleticism to the field when the pocket breaks down. Just think, some of us thought we were totally finished if Hanson got hurt this year - I was wrong. If nothing else, we have 2 very good QBs right now. Congrats Marcus. You have made me a believer. Great job.

IMO.... 2010 NIU > 2007 CMU > 2006 Ball St The fact that ndsu beat that CMU team by 30 was impressive. Still their most impressive FBS win.

I agree 100%. Chandler Harnish was impressive. They were 11-3 that year, lost in the MAC Championship game and CRUSHED Fresno in the bowl game 40-17. We were a dropped ball away from winning that game in the last seconds.

That's what I'm guessing and how I read it too. If Wisconsin or some other Big "Televen" school were to come in late with a schollie, he would take it. Nice to get his FCS verbal though this early. Coach Mannausau is on the board!

Looks like he was on the same AAU team with Apple Valley's Tyus Jones, who was dishing to Hooker numerous times in those highlights. EDIT: SWSiouxMN beat me to it. Need to read more ahead of time.
