This should be used as a HUGE recruiting tool, and I'm sure it already is......it better be. Would you rather bus to Iowa, South Dakota, Illinois, and probably fly to Indiana, Missouri etc?.... OR... Fly everywhere out west and see the countryside and warm weather in California, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Idaho, Arizona and Montana? Honest question, Mr. High School Football Recruit...
-
.....which is more than any other FCS conference.
-
Yes we do know that.
-
Would be very hard to argue against it. Eastern Washington's WR is up there too I think. Anybody else have any nominees?

IMO Hanson is no question the better overall QB. That's why he won the starting job and Marcus would have been 3rd string if Bradley hadn't left before camp. There are reasons for that. Marcus has played very well.....above and beyond what I thought he was capable of and I am both happy and proud of him. Kid has been very resilient through his college career. Marcus also brings the athleticism to the field when the pocket breaks down. Just think, some of us thought we were totally finished if Hanson got hurt this year - I was wrong. If nothing else, we have 2 very good QBs right now. Congrats Marcus. You have made me a believer. Great job.

IMO.... 2010 NIU > 2007 CMU > 2006 Ball St The fact that ndsu beat that CMU team by 30 was impressive. Still their most impressive FBS win.
-
Yeah you're right. Texas Tech, then NIU.
-
I agree 100%. Chandler Harnish was impressive. They were 11-3 that year, lost in the MAC Championship game and CRUSHED Fresno in the bowl game 40-17. We were a dropped ball away from winning that game in the last seconds.

Fixed it for ya....

Wait, we aren't rivals anymore, remember? The rivalry is DEAD. Someone needs to tell Prairie Public TV immediately...
-
That's what I'm guessing and how I read it too. If Wisconsin or some other Big "Televen" school were to come in late with a schollie, he would take it. Nice to get his FCS verbal though this early. Coach Mannausau is on the board!
-
Looks like he was on the same AAU team with Apple Valley's Tyus Jones, who was dishing to Hooker numerous times in those highlights. EDIT: SWSiouxMN beat me to it. Need to read more ahead of time.

NICE!!!

This is one of the best posts I have read in some time. All you hunters out there - pay attention to what UNDColorado has to say on this one......please?

I think you're right. I'm not 100% sure either, but I don't think he is being recruited as a QB. My guess is OLB or safety.

Week 2: Potato Bowl 2012 - UND vs. Portland State
UNDvince97-01 replied to UND-FB-FAN's topic in Football
DJ Adams was a 4-star recruit and ranked the #16 RB in the country by Scout and #29 by Rivals coming out of high school. He was also on the ESPNU 150. We are talking apples and oranges here. Adams will be a 1st round draft pick, all-pro and one of the best ever in the NFL. Might as well start producing his 'bust' in Canton, OH. (as long as words are being put in my mouth, I'll make the most of it) -

That's a good nomination. He did nothing at the Alerus though. Was also a bust in the NFL. I think time will tell the whole story on Adams, to a certain degree. -

No, I'm not actually. Had some pretty good insight on Chappell when he played. -

We can disagree. This guy and Chappell aren't even in the same discussion as a RB. Chappell was very talented and probably had more top end speed, but it ends there. The adjustments that should have been made were "tackle better". Like I said, they had him bottled up numerous times, only to have him escape. I don't think scheme or playcalling were the issue at all. The guys needed to simply make plays when they had a chance. -

While we certainly didn't tackle well, he had a LOT to do with it. For his size and physicality, he was amazingly shifty and good at making people miss when we had him bottled up. He also had good top end speed. Honestly, who has been to the Alerus that is better at RB? I don't think it's even close. That total package is rare at this level. -

Are you sure about that? That PSU RB is the best I have seen ever play at the Alerus. He was the total package - he had it all. If Montana has 2 of him, I am already concerned. -

I'm still so torn on this one. On one hand, the kid sounds like he is uber-talented and should play a lot this year. On the other hand, I'd really love to redshirt him this year and not trade his best year for his worst. Coaches will do what they think is best for the team. Can't wait to watch the game tomorrow. -
Haven't many of us already stated this? Why do you continue to repeat yourself over and over again?
-
You would say that.

What if they were impaired with the very substance they were promoting on the petition when they made these supposed 'stupid and lazy' mistakes?
