I don't believe Robertson's clock ever started because he never enrolled, right? Didn't he go directly from high school to a community college? So I believe he could redshirt if UND really wanted him to, correct? But I dont think Robertson came here to redshirt. He might just replace Oliver's "spot" in the 2012 class. Who knows though.

And Golladay had no other offers, no rivals page and no stars..... I digress. FWIW, Bobbit apparently signed as a LB at SDSU. I still like Reyes the best of the 3, followed by Kuksa, as I stated a while back. Hopefully we got this year's Golladay again in Kuksa and SDSU got their Elmore with Bobbit.

The other variable is that our competition was our FCS peers in the Midwest: UNI, USD, WIU, SDSU and SIU Pretty good sign with that competition.

I think he's definitely a candidate. Obviously have to see if he can handle it physically and mentally first in fall camp, but yes I think so.

Take it for what its worth (not much), but the first time i watched Thurman's highlights I said "zeke" out loud.

In my opinion, there are 3 big dogs still sitting out there in IL for us... 1. S Cole Reyes 2. OLB Jameer Thurman 3. ILB Kyle Norberg Reyes is the top dog at safety.

Would be huge.

Might be on to something there homer. They brought Rogers and Riddle in on the same weekend. Although maybe Rogers already told them no or that he was gonna take another visit? Who knows. I'm guessing they won't turn down Rogers. I know there are differing opinions, but I think I like Rogers better as a QB. His throwing motion is raw, but his size and upside are more I think.

Riddle's film looks decent and if nothing else, he's a high school QB in this class, which we needed. The media and bloggers in the northwest seem to think he's a pretty good get. I'm not gonna do backflips over the kid or anything, but I think it's good to have a high school QB in this class in case "QB Armageddon" happens in the next couple of years where Mollberg and/or Bartels were to get hurt. Who knows, maybe he turns out to be better than any of us think.

Highly contested recruit Noah Scarver was on campus this weekend. There were also 2 high school QBs, one of which I think was Tyler Rogers from AZ. The other I'm not 100% sure of.

We have 4 football alums total on that staff, including his dad Rich, who is the head coach.

Tusler should have way more offers and options with those numbers and accolades. Something is up there. Hadn't heard that about Redmond, but you might be right. Norberg and/or Reyes would be huge gets. Reyes is the best safety on the board remaining, IMO. I'm not sure there was ever a mutual interest for Bobbit. I dont think he ever visited campus? Again, I could be wrong. I actually thought his teammate was better at safety - Kuksa? Miller is OL, Cary is DL I believe.

You might be right. I thought he was just a punter for some reason.

If that happens, I'm guessing Tibesar ends up there in some capacity.

Nice post Hambone. Here are my thoughts on some of those guys: - Didn't like Rhoda much on his film. We can do better. - Tusler is slow and overrated. Think we backed off on him. - Carson Hogan and/or Jesse Kubick would both be nice PWO additions. If we have to throw them a bone to get them, so be it. Don't think there's any way we get Fahning. Would be nice though. - Scarver at TE would be huge. His other offers are impressive. We need a big playmaking TE to compliment the WR in the passing game and give the young QBs a friend. - I believe we have another verbal out there at NG that hasnt been posted. - At LB, right now Redmond would be a huge get. I've heard Alipate may stay in the metro area and go to St. Thomas, which is shocking given his list of offers. Kyle Norberg from IL is high on my wish list as well. Landing Redmond and Norberg would be huge. - Corner: getting really nervous about this position in this class. Hopefully they have some tricks and secrets up their sleeves that they are holding onto until signing day. They always like to have surprises on NSD. - Thurman played safety, but I really think he projects much better as an OLB, given his size and film. Just get the kid to sign. Cole Reyes is another safety that is a longshot. He visited in December and would be a huge win. I dont believe Bobbit is still an option. - Might bring in a kicker? There are many others out there that are being waited on or are still planning on visiting in January. That I know. Its a waiting game for both sides.
