Went to watch Mollberg and Labat 2 years ago in Park Rapids when they were seniors. Mollberg was hobbled but still played pretty well and Labat had a dominating game. By the end of the game I was asking myself who #9 was. Herzog was only a sophomore playing OLB, but he stuck out and I came away impressed by him. EDIT: I'm surprised he doesn't have any LB highlights on that tape. Did he only play QB last year in order to keep him healthy? He seems like a LB recruit for UND. Maybe Ira can answer some of this?

Agreed. For a player of his talent and caliber, that is unacceptable.

If and when Huff decides to pass the basketball when there are open teammates, this team has a chance to be so much better. Huff is amazingly talented and athletic. He just needs to become more of a team player.

I agree that it's probably not in the cards in the immediate future. However the school and administration had better be prepping themselves for the move so that when and if the right opportunity presents itself, we are ready to do it. Our hand could be forced to do it again like it was when we went from D2 to D1. If we start to position ourselves now, the jump won't be so severe if and when it happens. I think the biggest variable is an on-campus football stadium, which at this point is a way down the road pipe dream. Hopefully within 20 years, it becomes a realistic option. Lets prove ourselves at the Division 1 and FCS levels first.

Agreed. Tough hypothetical question to ask here, I know. But it could be a legit possibility within 5 years. What if the Summit fell apart and the Montana Schools left for FBS? Fullerton would have to have Fargo, Brookings and Vermilion on speed dial for the BSC right? And if they invited them, would they all accept? I'm asking OBJECTIVELY to both sides here.

While I certainly hope that it is a big deal, given the nature and source of the tweet, I have a hard time believing it's anything too big. Isn't Nodak Nation basically the old "Sioux Crew"? How much insider info would a student organization have that the administration wouldn't want to keep to themselves for a press conference and ultimate announcement. They wouldn't be able to keep it quiet if the students know would they? I'm guessing it's something pretty generic, but they did say "UND Athletics". Hoping for the biggest and best, but tempering my expectations on it.

In 2012, yes you have something there. In 2015? We shall see. Unless we meet in the playoffs, that looks like the earliest they could possibly get scheduled. Fargo University has missed its window to kill UND on the football field. UND will only get better, and after 2013, I can't believe Fargo will get better than the last 3 years.('11, '12, '13)

It will be just a matter of time before the almighty word "perception" will be stripped away from Fargo University's football program (in regards and relation to UND specifically). History tells us this perception will come to an end soon....yet again. I look forward to it. (Disclaimer: in no way am I taking anything away from what Fargo University has done on the football field the last few years. Impressive.)

Again, Huff's drive to the lane from the top of the key and contested two-hand dunk with a guy all over him is the most athletic play I think I have ever seen a UND player make in a game. That was big-time. Now he just has to make his layups....
