I stand corrected. Even more impressive.

I wish all of the players gave the effort and played with the pride that Hooker displays on a nightly basis - it's on another level. He also is very disciplined for only being a sophomore. We are lucky to have him. He's what you want in a competitor and player. He's the bright spot on an unbelievably disappointing season. There's no question he is a leader on the team and should be a captain next season.

There's so much flaw in this post (IMO), I'm not sure where to begin. I could not disagree more with this theory/philosophy/thought process/logic/justification/attitude.... I guess I'll just respectfully leave it at that.

There seems to be a very blurred line between positivity and reality with you. Sadly, you also seem to think that on the court results are all that matter. I think that's only a 1/3 of the problem for most people on here if you haven't been paying attention. Lastly, you are in the VAST minority on this topic. We agree to disagree. I like to refer to it as the "noon ball" offense. Couple that with the slouchy shoulders and "poopy diaper" optics that the head coach displays from the bench on a nightly basis, and you have yourself a leader of men. I heard there was quite the scene that transpired in the locker room at halftime against Montana State last week. There were no repercussions again as always. Business as usual to start the 2nd half. Hopefully there aren't any eligibility issues next season. 9 years in the making.....exciting stuff.

I disagree. That would defeat the purpose of buying it out, would it not? I have a hard time believing FU wouldnt want another chance at UND in 2019 if we won. In fact, I woud say no chance they would want to buy it out if UND won. Theres a much better chance of that happening if UND were to get blown out, or even having a close call with UND next year in my opinion.

I'm not really sure how anyone that has been paying attention can say that the program has been anything other than mediocre at best. The trends point to more of the same under Jones in the future. The proof over his tenure is in the pudding. There's simply no argument there. Some people are content with that. Others aren't.
